I am a Ranger spike in PvP. This is the build i am using please post suggestions like skill changes i only have prof game.

savage shot

Read the Wind is common in Ranger spike builds.

There are better spike builds available but they need other chapters.

Before any comment on the build: you would probably have better answers to this question in the PvP forum (provided the answers you get are not: don't play a spiker).

Marskmanship is what increase your damage. You shouldn't try to spike with less than 15. Troll Unguent won't save your life - your attribute points shouldn't be invested in Ws for this skill. As Drupal mentionned, the 10 extra damage and the low arc size from RtW are probably the best option, over Kindle. Lightning Reflexes is viable, but it doesn't last long.

Now there are 2 more things about spikers: 1/ (soz) you cannot spike alone and generally rangers have 2 free slots they fill depending on the needs of the team (spirits and erm... other skills - I haven't played a spiker since HA is 6v6 so I'm not sure about the skills the spikers - if there are any left - bring nowadays). 2/ there are now many counters to spikes, making the build even less effective and reliable than it used to be.

I dunno about RtW anymore tbh. In HA theres no space for an order necro to assist R-Spike. Kindle would probably do more damage, also converts damage to fire and lets a vampiric bow still work. Would help alot on spiking warriors.
