In an effort to *improve* Ventari Sell and all of it's sub-forums changes will be made.
Changes to Sell
Only items worth less then 100k are to be posted here. Any items with a B/O of 100k or greater are to be posted in High End sell.
The use of Sell to promote auction threads is to stop. Any threads found promoting auction sells will be closed and the user banned.
If a thread is seen that says anything about this or has links to other auctions of the same items, your thread will be closed, and a ban issued.
Excessive thread titles will now be a bannable offence.
Example: WTS Elemental Sword Req8 15^50!!!!!!!!!!! <~~This is not acceptable.
Example: WTS GOLDLY!!!! SERPANT AXE 15^50!!!! 20/20!! +30HP!!! will result in a ban.
Example: WTS Elemental Sword Req8 15^50 <~~Acceptable
Keep thread titles short and to the point. Keep them in check and try not to post over the top with items or discriptions. No more "!!!!" or "LOOKIE LOOKIE", "UBER ITEMS", or such will be allowed. PERIOD.
Things to be aware of:
Non-bids seem to be on the up yet again. Non-bids will also result in a ban, ban length depends on length of time as a registered user and the amount of previous user notes <warnings placed on account by a mod>.
Non-bids consist of such things as:
*S/B is too high/low
*B/O is too high/low
*You bumped before 24 hours - Report this, don't play mod.
*This belongs in Sell - Again report this, don't post.
*I'll PM you in-game
*Flaming - Besides being rude it's also a non-bid.
Active sell threads each user is allowed 1 active thread in the Sell section and 1 active thread in High End section.
High End - 100k+ items only
Sell - Sub 100k items
Double Posts these are to be deleted by the user. Editing with "double post sorry" won't be accepted as it's just as easy to delete the post. To delete a post go "edit post" - "delete" it's as simple as that.
Bumping then deleting this can been seen by any Ventari Sell mod and will result in a ban. Don't do it.
Most of this is covered in Ventari Sell rules but these rules seem to be getting ignored more and more often, this is about to stop or a lot of people will be finding a new forum to post in.
These measure may seem drastic but the only other alternative is to shut Ventari Sell completely.
Note: All this will take effect from 29-1-07. Any threads that were posted before this time will be allowed to run their course.

Another current problem is double posting.
While we understand most of the time it is down to Guru messing up, there is no reason why you can't delete your own double/triple posts.
All you have to do is:
1. Press "Edit"
2. Press "Delete"
3. Enter why you are deleting (optional)
4. Click "Delete this post"
Done.
Myself and the other mods are tired of reading "sorry double post" "delete this" "read the first post" etc
It gets old and we already have our work cut out keeping this section in order (it isn't easy by any means)

There is no way to monitor said events, and is a very shady deal.
This is the one and only warning that will be posted and any further "lotteries" will reap time off.
