Defender's Zeal

anyone know how to cap this skill? i havent been able to cap it since there are 2 monks in the group.

I have tried a group with 2 SF nukers and some other hench groups but i can never kill the boss.

First off SF nukers are horrible.
Secondly, 2 level 20 eles are not going to be enough firepower to take down two level 28 monks.

Shut them down...mesmer style.

they are smiting monks... they only use one way of healing... signet of devotion...

its hard because you think you have to worry about the monks... but you have to worry is with the patrols that pass through there and with the boss's party... they will kill you...

take an SS necro...

Spoil Victor could probably be a bad day for them too considering they are 8 levels higher than you and therefore bound to have more health. Also it's going to hurt the healer as well since the one deciding to heal will likely have more health than the person he is trying to heal.

I killed this boss no problem. I don't remember my team setup but the key is to watch the patrols. I left the Gate of Secrets (I think) and headed Right. Snuck around with the wall on my right hand side and was able to dodge all the mobs that side by just wall hugging. Once I got round the back of where the portal was I could see the boss. I waited. After a minute or so a patrol crept up the back of him. "Thank GOD I didn't go kill him..." I thought. I waited a few minutes for the patrol to head off back then went in and had all the henchies target the boss. Killed him in about 45 seconds, capped the skill...zoned out.

Personally I think the key is to watch the patrols so you don't aggro more than you can handle.
