Wouldn't it be nice if Anet put tiny landmarks to help us know which NPC vendors were which? It's easy to find storage next to the long chests, but finding merchants and NPC vendors in crowded outposts takes time. They wouldn't have to do much, small stands holding their wares, signs or standardized uniforms symbolizing what they sale would help. At least for the general merchants.
(Sorry if this thread exists. I couldn't find it.)

Lmao. While having icons for collectors and res shrines actually makes sense this suggestion is more an act of lazyness.
Btw.
Once you've been in an outpost you should remember where the various NPC's were located.
One outpost that could use some better structure though is Gate of Torment.
Man i hate that one

An outpost isn't really that huge... if you can't be bothered to spend a short moment looking for NPCs... might as well suggest that Anet create shortcuts for NPCs services, like mebe ALT-1 for storage, ALT-2 for merchant, ALT-3 for skills, etc. and do away with all those NPCs.

True, it is mostly an act of lazyness, but I like it for two reasons:
1 - It will make npc's easier to find
2 - It will add to the immersion of the game. I mean, in a real world, people selling things dont have [Merchant] in their names - they have a stall and a sign advertising them.
