How do u value a weapon or item?

how do you know how much weapons and items are worth?
i got some nice weapons but i aven't got a clue how much 2 sell them for.
Sometimes I don't know if i'm getting conned or not!
is there a forum or site i can go on?.

best way is to observe what other people are selling items for ....also check out the sellers forum here at guru...on the main forums page about half way down u willl see something about price check...go there read the stickies and scan thru some of the posts. Best way is experience...how do u get experience...by making a few bad sales and then saying...hrm maybe I should ask around about the price of things...usually someone in your guild or alliance can give you a decent price check...if all else fails come to guru (since they seem to set prices) and do a search....if u still can't find anything put it up for sale for xxx and if no one "bids" go lower in your price.....atleast this is how i do it....

I've been playing GW for a long time now and am only just starting to be able to Guestimate the value of items. It has taken a LOT of watching other people's sales...
