Is it possible to designate another guild as alliance leader?

My guild is currently leading an alliance but I'm going to disband it. Is there anyway to just designate another guild as the leader of alliance then I leave it or do I have to kick them all then the guild that wants to lead just re-invites all the other guilds?

Not that I'm aware of. According to wiki:

"The alliance leader cannot transfer leadership to a different guild, withdraw from the alliance or change the faction of an alliance with more than 1 guild. "

So you'd prolly hafta boot them all and let them reform.
