Questions regarding req7 and 8 weapons

Just want to find out how common or uncommon req 7 or 8 weapons (max dmg of course) drop in the 3 chapters of GW. I know req7 used to drop in prophecies but it seems that even req 8 are very hard to come by these days as I for one have not seen a req 8 drop in any chapter now for a long time. I might just be very unlucky though and I also have been playing a lot of nightfall lately and I know req8 are quite rare there. Do req7 weapons exist in Factions?

From what I remember, req 7 and 8 weapons dropped in Factions before Nightfall went live. Don't know about now, since all I've heard was very loud complaints about no one being able to find so much as a req 8 weapon in Nightfall.

All I've heard is rumors anyway, so take that with a grain of salt.

There was a req7 collosal scimitar being price checked in pc forum a while back.

so no one else has any info on req 7 and 8 weapons. Do anymore drop these days, especially after the release of nightfall

there very rare and still drop in the first chapter, unsure about in factions... dont really play that much.

I can't say anything about Prophecies or Factions anymore, but Nightfall occasionally drops req 8s.

Req7 exist in factions, or at least they did.

I have a Plagueborne Sword max r7 (gold) in storage somewhere.
