Feedback on the Green week-end in Cantha
Hengist Meldanash
Dear Farmers and Soloers,
It may be interesting and constructive to get some feedback from your experience during this week-end of farming greens all across Cantha.
Please post which boss did you farm, how difficult was it, how do bypass this difficulty, etc...
To start with, I will give you mine:
Warrior Bosses:
Geoffer's Bulwark, Jacqui's Aegis and Arrahh's Aegis: I've used the N/Me solo build from wiki, using also henches and heros either to take down the group of Nagas that engages Geoffer's group, or trying to destroy any group that this Leeroy Jenkins aka as Jacqui the Reaver may engage.
Sunreach's Shield: using the A/E build, very fun to use, quite some time to get used to, but finally managed to get one shield!
Ranger Bosses:
Lorelle's Longbow: I've used a W/X + M hero linker build to get this one, quite hard, glass arrows+needling shot+double damage for Canthan boss is a huge pain, and don't forget to bring an interrupt for his troll ungent.
Nundak's Recurve Bow: the N boss going with him and the toucher mobs around makes it a difficult task for me, finally I get it by using the hero flag system, killing him with a N master minions build!
Monk Bosses:
Hukhrah's Staff: Clear all the way to his location with hench and heros, but don't kill the yetis around him. I've used a SoA build, with both Visages and IW (yeti Rits with their blinding spirits are a pain in the ***) to drain him from
his mana, also bring watchful healing to counter the poison traps set around there.
Kaolin protection staff: this one was a bonus with a full team of heros+hench on my way to the Warrior construct!
Sin Boss:
Urkal's Kamas: Clear the way with hench and heros, pull him with a longbow and kill him with a Riposte W build, quite easy...
Mesmer Bosses:
Hanaku's Focus and Siska's Staff: clear the mobs with the hench and so on, flag and use a W/Mo build, based only on adrenaline and 2 perma ench, very easy farm.
Kenrii's Sorrow: easiest farm on the earth, go there with full team, clear, flag, kill him.
Milefaun's Staff and Swiftspell's Staff: those 2 ones were harder, shattering enchant and energy denial for the first, and environmental effects (stone spores) for the second, after several attempts with different builds, I've finally used my N master minions technic used with Nundak and it works quite well!
Bezzr's Wingstorm: I've tried an A/E shadow form build, but it was quite hard to get Bezzr targeted by sliver armour...didn't succeed to get his wand...
So in resume, this week-end was worthy, 15 greens for me, to enlarge my collection, but please Anet if this kind of week-end should happened frequently, please give us more storage space!
Please, feel free to comment, argue and give your feedback.
Heng.

well.
Ghial Bone dancer with A/E Sliver armor solo, was very easy, and after a few try I got his staff.
The Necromancer construct using the same build, hard to get Sliver to target, but shadow haste really helped out so I could try again without dying, and I got his staff.
The Mesmer construct was pretty much the same.
Kenrii Sea Sorrow was a total breeze to kill with A/E.

Using Spoiled victor 55 monk and flag henches I farmed like 50 wing`s axes, he drops those very often, at least 1 out of 3 and sometimes 4 in a row. Now I only have 1 axe left ;D Pretty worth it since I sold from 6-8k. Run only takes like 4 minutes too.
I farmed SSkai like 5 times and got his sword once. Since it`s only worth 5-7k I didnt bother doing more.
Killed Chkkr for Chkkr`s pincers around 8 times, only dropped once, sold for 8k, not really worth it ;/
Killed Strongroot about 2 times, got nothing, shield not worth a lot anyways.
Now I'm back to farming Deathbringer for 14k a pop, but he drops like once every 4-5 runs ;(

ANY warrior boss, all but the hardcore deadly sins, rangers with either shortbows or where you can attain a height advantage, paragons, some dervishes (aoe bad) and all hex based attackers are easy targets, hero/hench flagway.
rt/x offensive spirit spammer 15com/11chan/11spawn
painful bond, essence strike, pain, bloodsong, shadowsong, dissonance, rit lord, boon of creation
point of interest: R/rt with nearly the same build: lose essence strike, boon and rit lord, add oath shot and 2/3 throw dirt, whirling defense, troll ung.
(I took 2 defense no heal) worked fairly well at 10 expertise (after sup and mask), 11 commune, 12 channel spare points if you go with troll in WS.
i dropped sskai with either build but no drops, gave away a few geoffers, wings axes, 2 ghials staves (swapped essence strike for necrotic traversal), jacquis aegis, ryvers shortbow, lorelles longbow, razorfins axe, tallous staff, razorfangs claws...etc Also works in elona of course.

I mostly group farmed in eternal grove. I got the scar eater, time eater, the ugly stick, and spiritgardens repose for my people there. I also soloed the rits construct and strongroots, and i got both their greens.

In total my bf and I got:
A/E sliver armor build
3x Kaolin Curses Staff
4x Kaolin Domination Staff
1 Kaolin Prot staff
1 Ghial's
The Kaolin were a bit annoying to get since this was basically our first tries with the build and trying to target sliver armor was a pain. Ghial's was really easy in comparison. I just got lost on the run the first couple of times :P.
Modded A/R solo build from wiki
1 Rajazan's Fervor
Easy once I figured out the quirks of the run; the wiki explanation is a bit too confusing and they don't explain the timing that well. Raj dies quicker if you drop your critical strikes and up dagger mastery instead. Most of my dmg was coming from death blossom + moebius strike spam (even when he's >50%, it's worth the recharge wait). I used my lead and offhand only once while fighting him.
