I don't know if this is rare - have seen no inscribable Req 8 offhands before.

Req 8 max gold inscribable stuff is rare but not unheard of. I've seen a req 8 inscribed chakram for sale. The highest bid got up to 20k (That 20k bid was mine which I later retracted because of problems with the seller, not the offhand. I think the next highest bid was about 15k IIRC.) Maybe that was a fluke, that auction, and this is worth a lot more. Just going by the only example I have.

I wouldn't suggest putting other mods on it. That's rare enough that people will be buying it for the req, not really worrying over the mods.

The req is rare, but the skin is common... ~40-50kish, maybe up to 60k if you find a collector of req8 inscribable mesmer items (haha >.>). I agree with the mod comment, you'll lose money. I have one of these, and I bought it for 5k.

I was the seller LicensedLuny is talking about. If you can find a buyer for it, you can get 40k atleast for it. Otherwise expect around 20k.

I ended up selling my offhand for 15k to the original bidder just today. I have put it up for auction and sale 3-4 times since then without any success.
