On my ranger I go to blacktide den (wanted to cap crocadile) and i see in the chat log this \/

I opened the present i got after typing /special (after typing that a blue present same skin as birthday present that said Nightfall special edition present) i opened to get a miniature varesh. I have a feeling my best friend (You know who you are if reading this) added it. But if im wrong is this a lucky glitch or did a-net do something or what!?

I saw a guy in my Local GW site post that he got that upgrade without knowing as well.Seem like someone messing with account database.

got 2friends who got a nightfall collectors upgrade yesterday aswell.

the fun part is theres no annoucements up yet from anet so im reverring to a database bug giving away free nightfall collectors upgrades.

Wow I should have kept my extra $20 I spent on my collectors if I knew they would be handing out all the extras for free. Well lesson learned don't purchase collectors.

I would be so pleased (and not too surprised) to learn this is ANet rewarding the selflessness that you've illustrated in the quote above. I'm going to keep checking their site for more 411.

This is really odd..Now i am starting to think there must be a reason behind this.

A. Anet would not randomly upgrade peoples accounts (not fair-if they did it-it should and would be to everyone)
B. Are you guys sure-you never upgraded your accounts? Online store? Using a hack? Cheating? Bot? etc
C. Could just be a error

This has happened to me as well. A couple of days ago I logged on to my mule account which has only Factions and Prophecies unlocked, (there is NO Nightfall copy merged with the account at all), neither of which is a collector's edition. I log on, it tells me to type /special to get my "Nightfall Collector's Edition Present", which turned out to be a mini-varesh. Confused me out of my mind, but just chalked it up to some kind of screw up by A.Net. :P
