Mo/Me

So I was j/w about suggestions for Def for an IW Me/W. I know its been hard now that distortion uses double the energy. I dont' use it as often as I did. I've thought about going Me/A because of the higher armor and mor cover enchantments. But is it worth losing the DMG over?

Since Dervish came along its seems to be a well rounded seconary for an IW mesmer. Earth prayers provide you with healing and defence, wind prayers gives you a speed boost.
I'd say its superior to the combination of Me/W.

Try Me/A.
With deadly paradox and an exhaltation weapon, you can maintain feigned neutrality constantly, wich means +80 armor and +7 health regen.

My set up :

[skill]illusionary weaponry[/skill][skill]deadly paradox[/skill][skill]feigned neutrality[/skill][skill]death's charge[/skill][skill]death's retreat[/skill][skill]illusion of weakness[/skill]

Switch between a scythe and a sword+shield depending on how packed are the ennemies. This builds as no IAS unfortunately, but has 140 armor and health regen.

feigned neutrality got nerfed, and i think deadly paradox may have been too so im not sure if the me/a IW still works. back before nightfall i used a simmilar me/w build that is still on guildwiki.org. now that build is pretty obsolete with all the new skills and its now very easy to counter. i believe your best bet is going with me/d.

Duality Of The Dragon

The new update left deadly paradox alone. Feigned Neutrality was reduced to 10 seconds. But with an enchanting mod and Deadly Paradox you can keep it up with less than a second of downtime.
