Chained Souls in ToPK

I was doing the A/E speed farming tombs, and i realised Chained Souls were dropping items..is this normal? i havent noticed it before.

They do. (12 chars min. )

Umm I could swear that they don't. I mean, they constantly respawn and don't attack you. If they drop items...

I don't recall ever seeing one drop anything but don't see why they would not.

I've had them drop items for me before.

They only drop items the first time they die.

I have seen a gold drop from one once.

yupper, always have, same as dying nightmares in uw...usually like half their level type quality.

I'd imagine it's the same as xp and sunspear points for resed beasties. As said above, only the first death "counts".
