Holy crap, its been almost 2 months since Gaile promised a solution was been worked on and nothings been done!

You know, it'd be nice if they STOPPED WASTING TIME LOOKING FOR ELABORATE SOLUTIONS and GAVE US A SIMPLE ONE. For christ sake we want to be able to max this damn title, we've wanted to be able to for 3 months now. We don't WANT something out of the ordinary... we want to be able to take a bounty from the Desolation... go out and kill things.

Let us max it the same way we did for the first 8 ranks. It doesn't do anything earth-shattering to gameplay, people already got it with their 'creative' ways (which were then nerfed???). Use some of that elaborate thinking to balance the skills instead.

Yea it was dumb to nerf the only way to max the title and then not bring us alternative. Its not vital that I have the title maxed right this instant, but it would be useful for PKM and above title track. Its kinda unfair to see all the people who exploited the title walk around with, while everyone else can't obtain it.

Just give us a way to max it. I dont even care what it is or I i have to grind. I like earning titles.

I would prefer to wait for a quality solution. Its not like anyone NEEDS to grind and max out the title -- let's wait and see if they can do something to make that last level worth earning.

Qft. More awesome changes can always be added later. Anet seems to prefer to leave things broken/unfinished though, and then after some more time come out with the most awsummmm thing evar. Which might work for upgrades and such, but not when something is broken.

Just make it possible for my characters to get max Sunspear title should I choose to do so - talk to guy at rez shrine, get points for killing stuff sounds simple enough.

Lightbringer title(s) seem to be way too much grind - 2 points per, bad grind situation for those that did not use exploit. Not sure if making it more points per kill or much larger quest rewards would be better or making some repeatable quests.

Anyway, fix please.

I must admit that this one puzzles me.

I thought that Anet had capped the Sunspear title track to prevent an in game advantage to those that got it. However, there is nothing currently in the game that having the max Sunspear title would give you an advantage with. (Unlike Lightbringer, where having rank 9 does give you a very minor benefit over someone with rank 8).

Unless they are intending on introducing something into the game, perhaps another new explorable area, or mission, where having this title gives you some in game benefit, then there is no reason what so ever that the level cap cannot simply be removed and the priests give you the blessings at rank 8.

Aslong as the solution is anything BUT more endless farming of points, then Im all up for any solution they create.

But FTLOG, dont make us farm for the points still. Give us an alternative way to earn them. I and others, do not like endless grinding and farming the same area over and over again.

Yeah, post SOMETHING and watch it turn into a flamewar on Guru. Nonetheless: Should? It's such a fricking easy solution. Just readjust the limit on the sunspears in the Desolation and let the title grow.
But something tells me this title will still be stuck at 8 when we're all allready playing the next chapter.

The "limit" on this title should never have been put in in the first place. It's a bad idea just like "attribute refund points" were, which got removed from the game.

Who cares if you can max the title by farming - almost all of the titles other than explorer and protector are maxed by one form of farming or another.

No need for a "new" way to max it.

They should simply remove the limit on the title - let priests give blessings to anyone who doesn't have a maxed title. End of story.

I pretty much have given up on Elona and its wastelands more due to not beign able to max the Sunspear title. And for the moment I will not e going back. I will stay in Tyria where it is truly fun to kill things without worring about "points" or "bounties".

Incorrect. The Sunspear title DOES give a benefit in PvE.

How do you know that. "Alternative access" for elite missions in Factions was supposed to come eons ago, yet it never did. Ditto for "trade improvements". Hence just because something is said to be coming, does not always mean that it actually ever will come.
