Alteration to the Discord Build

Here is a variation of a Discord build, using a Mesmer sub over an Elementalist:

Necromancer/Mesmer

Attributes: 12+1+3 Death Magic, 11+1 Curses, 6+1 Soul Reaping

Skills:
Discord {E}
Enfeeble
Parasitic Bond
Arcane Echo
-Optional- (currently Faint Heartedness for me. Make it a hex)
Leech Signet (Accumulated Pain if you're outside RA/AB)
Soul Feast/Consume Corpse
Ressurection Signet

Weaponry: +5^50/20, 20/20 set or a dual 20/20 set.

If you're using Accumulated Pain, you can cut down on the Curses and add some extra points to Illusion.

i personally like going /A because of the deadly arts hex versatility

why do you have curses so high...?

(I know its for PB, but 11 points is a waste, why not use it in inspiration or soul reaping for SoLS...)

That might be for the health regain when PB ends.

I'm a bit surprised you didn't go:

I ended up using Rotting Flesh instead of Enfeebling Blood, but I figure Discord should kill things quickly, and EB/RF + S/SoF should hex a lot of targets for you to continually spam Discord. Reveal Hex/Enchant and Signet of Lost Souls is your energy regain.

I enjoy a high Soul Reaping to gain energy faster, but that's just me.

Your build seems fine, except for Consume Corpse & Archane Echo.

Well, I used to have Rotting, but Disease can also spread back to you and your team, so it's a double edged sword. I use Enfeeble for its quick cast and because it now reduces all attributes by 1 as well as cause lesser melee damage. I have Arcane Echo because it lets me spam it at a much higher and deadlier rate. Consume Corpse was just an experimental slot, kind of like the other optional slot. As Emik stated, my curses are high because of the PB health gain. I don't have SoLS because, well...I haven't unlocked it yet. I haven't progressed very far into Nightfall.

CC is great. I dunno why you wouldn't take it running a non-MM death magic necro (unless there was an MM in your team). In lower PvP, you can usually make do with Enfeeble->Pbond->Discord spam. You usually have to dip into a secondary for some other condition (you shouldn't be using Rotting Flesh in PvP unless you're running a Tainted necro). N/A for [wiki]Dancing Daggers[/wiki]->[wiki]Entangling Asp[/wiki] works pretty well. Most of the time I just spam enfeeble and leave it to my team for other stuff though.

Not an actual build, but a few of those skills combo well with eachother. Augury has been findin it's way into a few of my necro's offensive builds. Deep Wound + Discord hurts alot. It's gettin late here though so I'll have to try some more sin skills tommorrow
