What was the point of destroying this skill? The only use I could come up with (it disables attack skill's for god's sake) was to recharge Dark Escape, and now I can no longer do that. D/A Forge Runners are dead, A/D forge runners are dead. Hell, getting that level 3 treasure hunter is going to be awful now that I cannot keep Dark Escape up 100% of the time to give me a little damage reduction...

dark escape was far from the only use of paradox. the most common use was with feigned neutrality, and even with the debuff to FN, its still a very strong combo. you can also use it with shadow form to help keep it up almost constantly. the skill is not dead.

My new build I'm gonna post soon still uses Deadly Paradox+FN,simply because it's a good heal+ cancel stance.

i am dissappointed as well...

shadow of haste is also dissapointing... now you cant cancel it out with itself... even with 13 in shadow arts =/

Out of all the skills they made better it probably doesnt make up for the nerf of Shadow of Haste.(for Assassin) It was not only the most fun skill but i had a really good RA build using it. But theres no point in telling it now

Deadly Paradox is dead for runners but it doesn't ruin the A/D build. You just have to be more creative. I have run droks numerous times since the nerf and have been successful just as often as before. I do hope however that they would return DP to its original state since an Assassin Stance is in fact an Assassin SKILL. Oh well what can you do. Move on and adapt I say. If they reduced the recharges of some of those shadow stepping skills to at least 20-25 sec i'd be happy. One can dream I suppose.

I can still use Deadly paradox in the A/E speed tombs farm, so I'm fine with it. ^_^

I dunno, i'm just saying, if it will disable my skills for a whole 10 seconds, I better be able to use ANY skill on it.... FYI, did a droks run since the nerf, it is considerably harder, but not as impossible as I thought it would be. Perhaps this is another case of another class abusing assassin skills, resulting in a nerf? (D/A droks runner)

I never even noticed it had done that....

I mean its odd that they call it a Bug. I thought it was intentional, and used it to maintain constant running sometimes with my ID+ build... but if it can't be used to quick-recharge stances... that doesn't necessarily mean its useless.

With 20% Enchant weapons and maxed Shadow Arts (I keep a spare Shadowy mask with Superior Shadow Arts rune for running):

#1. Deadly Paradox => Arcane Echo => Shadow Form
#2. Arcane Echo (as Shadow Form)
#3. Deadly Paradox => Shadow Form

Brief downtime inbetween to recharge health... typically with Deadly Paradox => Shadow Refuge => Feigned Neutrality (both, just in case of health degen)... If still being chased at the time, open with Shroud of Distress and Dark Escape (if its recharged)....

Repeat...

I mean.... energy management can be an issue (especially with Deadly Paradox on top)... but with weapons granting extra energy as well as the 20% Enchant extension alongside full Shrouded Armour (as any sin-runner should have), its hardly major much of the time.
