You contact via email [email protected]. Give them the offending IP address and tell them it is not your IP address. Basically they will tell you to change your passwords asap. Best to choose a password that is not easy. Something only you would know. Most likely this person has your account name and email address.

Its very possible its somebody that u told, possibly a guildie, or sum1 u told to recieve and image or something from.

And once more PlayNC completely sucks ass at account security. When will NC Soft pull it's head out of it's ass and do something about brute force attaks? Shit like this is completely unacceptable.

Check with your Guru private messeges. What I left there should help with some of your questions.

Is your account name XXXXXXXXXXX If so, then it's in your Guildwarsguru profile.

There should be a sticky warning people of stuff like this. Don't put any information regarding your GW account on GW related sites. It's not hard to find this stuff.

The exact same thing is happening to me right now. Help!
I've got like 70 emails, and when I emailed [email protected] I got a "request denied" email saying they no longer accept direct email to that address!
So all I've managed to do is submit a 'question' to their support website, and they say they'll get back to me "in a business day".
Not much help when the emails are still coming through!!
I just got one from Livejournal too - the same IP address trying to change my LJ password!

Seems this needs to be posted again. I want to first mention that here at GuildWarsGuru.com we try to keep every member's account safe. We have disabled the viewing of birthdays from any main page since this is an NCSoft security question and are the only fansite to date who has done this as a security measure, your email addresses are not accessible by any other forum member, and your passwords are safe and encrypted.

A few days ago, GWG forum members made us aware of a possible problem with PlayNC account security. It seems that a few accounts were stolen, and the concern was raised that the thefts may have resulted because of a shortfall in security through the PlayNC system. I don't want to get into the mechanics or the details, but I want to thank the forum members who reported this problem, and I want to apologize if any of you felt that you weren't helped as immediately nor as thoroughly as you might have been in the initial stages. I want to express thanks to one member in particular (whom I won't name right now, but you know who you are!) who provided very helpful and detailed information which we used to track down the matter. And you will be interested to know that the appropriate action has been taken on more than one of the accounts of those responsible. I am not at liberty to reveal what that was, but knowing action was taken, and the accounts identified, is probably of some interest to you. As a matter of fact, these thefts were made possible through a combination of errors. I know that GWG has made a change that will prevent the acquisition of information. And you will be pleased to know that there is a major change in the PlayNC system coming within a matter of days. Protocols are being put in place that will greatly reduce--perhaps even make impossible--this particular kind of account theft. That is not to say that all account thefts will be rendered impossible--we could only wish! But the three or four that we know of which were a result of this recent situation will be far less likely to happen in the future. Here are some tips I'd like to share with you:
