Account Question

When I first started playing GW, my wife and I both bought and account. My wife never played so I let my friend use her account, now he has a few characters on it and my wife wants to play again but we also want to play with the friend using her old account. My friend has offered to buy her a new copy of the game.

How do I go about changing the login and account information to my friends, so he can have the account.My wifes account uses her email address, not a PlayNC account.

When you log in and your at the character selection screen at the bottom theres the option button, thats what your looking for, I'm not sure how much you can change, for example i believe you cant change your login email.
But try it and see, and good luck.

You cannot change the login email even if the email account doesn't exist anymore. You can change your contact email address. As long as one of them is active, you are ok. This requires a PlayNC account to be created.

You can change your password.

Be sure to give the friend all the proofs of ownership - box, CDs, paper with key code, etc. In the event the account ever gets stolen he/she will need them.

if it has not been linked to the store you can change the login email.

i know this for a fact as i have already done it on 2 different accounts

Damn, i recently changed Email addys, but my old one was linked to the store, however, i've changed the email addy on my PlayNC account
