Hey everyone. I am fairly new to GW and have a few characters started but I always seem to run into the quest that takes me into Post-Sear when I want to stay in pre longer.
Does anyone know the name of the quest that takes you into post, so that I can avoid it for abit?
Quest question.

It is the quest "Path to Glory" from Armin Saberlin in Ascalon City. The quest itself is to simply talk to Sir Tydus (standing right next to him).
When you talk to Sir Tydus to accept the reward, there is a note saying something along the lines of "Warning: if you choose "yes," there is no going back from this point."
If you do click to accept, you're straight into the Academy - sometimes a bit of light PvP, then into the simple "Kill Vaatlaw Doomtooth" mini-mission.

thanks for your help.
I dont remember the PvP though. I do remember killing Vaatlaw Doomtooth though. Hmm, maybe I was outside smoking or in the wc.
O well, I will be starting a new character this eve, see you in game!

there probably was no-one else going to post at that moment, when it happens you get a fight similar to an arena duel but with hench. Or the just screwed up and bugged.

No, if nobody else is going post at the same time as you, you just skip the PvP altogether and go straight into the Vaatlaw hunt.
Oh, and be prepared for a torrent of abuse if you do the little PvP section with a high level character. I took my Ranger through at L17 for an 11 - 0 win, and "noob" was the least of the insults.
"Noob," how's that work then?
