I don't know if anyone's ever pointed this out before, but take a look at the maps found around Tyria. This particular one is from Ember Light Camp, but I've seen them as early as around Piken Square. The typos are probably intention. There seem to be one in all of them, except the two short ones (Tyria and Kryta).

Also. why have you posted the same pic 3 times..there is slight variance in each one due to the world, and the time between when you pressed the print screen button.... and yeh, dude your spelling.

His misspellings were intentional. He was trying to translate the map. But I don't think it was done with an understanding that not all languages have a 26 letter system. In this language it appears the \~ is used for both the T sound and a hard C sound, as it is used in place of a T, and a C.
Any Linquists out there care to take a crack at learning Tyrian?

If you go to the Guild Wars OGaming site, they have several nice articles on "Tyrian Paleology", as they call it. Here is a link to a translated alphabet, which seems pretty accurate (I haven't checked each letter). No difference in the C and T, although one of them has a slanted main line and one doesn't, though I can't tell if the T/C is slanted in your map images (since the map is all crinkled and distorted), and you can see the letters in the image I posted have been made differently (some in paint, some in photoshop) so I don't know if the slant can be taken seriously.
