FoW is alright but the keys cost a bit to much and you normally get a crap drop.
I used to do the Mirror of Lyss chest running but you can always do the Brauer academy run kurzick style

DoA and Kurzick keys, DoA i usually get enough good stuff to get my money back, Kurzick is just like fast chest running but with a chance to get some good stuff unlike port sledge.

Doa, Ancient Elonian, and Kurzick KEys are my fav. Perfect dual gothic axes and few ele swords i recieved from these keys. VAbbi keys i hate now since it drops to many purps same as port sledge.

I used to chest run quite a bit but after the nerf stop but NF has inspired me. Can anyone post their routes for any of the NF chest runs, I play warrior so could you also put any tips for your run with it.

I like to run Margonite chests in Nightfallen Jahai, always get good stuff, other than that, other chests in NF and Factions seem to disappoint.
On another note, Hell's precipice chest running AND Ring of Fire chest running can net you great profits if you know which chests to open and which to stay away from.

Yea i say right now Nightfall is the place to chest run just because of the inscribable items you get ^ ^. I also i like CR'ing Margonite chests in Nightfallen Jahai pretty easy place ive already gotten about 6 Fiery/Icy Blade axes and some other stuff. FoW still fun, and DoA if you like more gold drops.

But yea if you have the money and patience to start chest running and you know what to id and what to sell(i.e. Crappy high Rq items) it can become quite profitable.

I suggest if somebody has a CR map (and there are no guides), post it here, I'm interested, because I dont have good routes for example for AE chests.
My favourite was port sledge run, but after the nerf its really non-profitable. These times I'm runnin kurzick chests just outside lutgardis, doing securing echovald forest as well, but its not too fast for me (and I havent got any 10k+ items lol). I dont like margonites, they drop me nearly only purples these days.

For CR, the when you get a drop and the req. is high, does that mean if you ID it the mod(s) on it will suck??

Also Dronte, Lutgardis sucks for Decent items, to many Caster crap, you want to go somewere where theres lots of melee.

ephexx, no. To know the mods on your unid, equip item, see if there is changes (energy, dmgs on critical while enchanted, health > 50, <50, while hexed etc...)

I'm interested which place is the best for getting my treasure hunter title higher (so the fastest, not interested in drops), and which place is the best for rare skins or golds or melee weapons. (or rare skin gold melee weapons :P

i went with witmans folly run, 3 chest a run, sometiems 2 if one spawns with an ele boss. cos 600x100=60000 so 60k, for opening chest and about 100k for thw wisdom title, tho drops where poor, i got a few sups, 1 vig :P, a few monks and 1 almost perfect hornbow, was 20/19 armor pen

I've just dipped into my first couple ancient elonian chests and man i am not a fan. unless anyone has had any major drops from these in the last couple days than im dropping it RIGHT NOW lol.
question: what builds are you all using to run DoA / Nightfalle Jahai?
question 2: does the thing with monsters near ches affecting drop work in Factions and Prophecies as well? or does it only apply for nightfall like i think it does?

My guild used to team run chests outside Warcamp, pre factions. Can't really reach some of the chests very easily w/o help from friends. Of course back then one drop determined the state of the chest.

Best place to CR is DoA Stygian Viel,well it was until they nerfed it.
all you did was run into circle,get chest,get out and repeat.
it was just about impossible not to make a profit, got a req9,10 tactics gloom shields from there, best drops ever.
got lots of req9 grim,glazen scythes and nightmare spears,also igneous blades and shadow axes.
Doesnt it eat your heart out knowing they nerfed it.
atm i would say nightfallen jahai is best place to run,a few maps and guides have been made on how to chest run there.

they nerfed stygian veil, but u still can do gloom with x/sin very easy but its a lil bit slower and 1-2 chests in whole the area xD

Never liked much of DoA...I rather FoW.
Lately i've been up to Ice Floe ones. Mursaat Bows and Hammers and got 4 major vigor's in a couple of runs which payed them.
Also i run to ancient elonian chests but nothing special though.
Never tried Vabbi dunno if the drops are good.

I did chest runs in hells be4 nightfall cam out and that was profitable. I dropped it because nightfall came with it's inscribable weapons (including inscibable sephis and dead bow's) and that made me quit the run.
atm i'm not running anymore, but i will when i got enough cash for it again. i think starting with ancient elonian.
ps: for starter chest runners. make sure u got enough cash to spend on about 50-100 keys in the beginning.

I have been running the Poisoned Outcrops for a couple weeks now. Been through a few hundred keys so far, and done pretty well. Just got a req 9 Elemental Sword last week. I have gotten a couple purple max Sephis Axes (req 9 and req 10). A couple req 9 gold Ripper Blades. A bunch of nice mods like 20/20 sword and +30 Scythe. I usually get 5 chests per run, and on average 3 purple and 2 gold per run. Some runs I get 5 purple, then on another run I will get 4 gold.
Other than that I go to Gloom occasionally, but for the one or two chests, and the time it really isn't worth it to me. Plus it seems they did something there, as I was doing runs on Friday night and would go 2 or 3 runs without getting any chests in the area at all and the purples seem to be coming out of those more and more now. For 1,500 a key, I don't like getting purples. Give me a crappy gold at least.

What zone has the most chance on rare skin drop?I was farming for my 2nd Fow,but got tired of it. If i could use the money that I already have to get loads of keys,so i have a good chance to get some major pwnage skin that i could sell for a nice amount of ecto,that would certainly lesser my boredom to Fow.

IMO, if you have enough investment(say, 100-200 keys), you can USUALLY(not always) make, double, or greatly increase your original investment.
