Past noob island/pre-sear at lvl1?
waiver
Could anyone point me to a guide or explain to me as to how to get past the "training" areas of the game?
I was interested in it after seeing a Necro lvl1 in Grotto.
Anyone?

Are you asking about how to get true the beginning and stay level 1 or just how to get passed it in any way.
Also which chapter, you mention pre sear and noob island, which both don't appear in any same chapter its one or the other.

Don't do any quests except for the one to get to post-sear.
Get a runner.

I was asking in how to get past an area where you're forced to level/do quests.
Such as right when you create a character in NF.
Pre-sear leaves you pretty much stuck leveling to 2.
As does the mission after creation in NF, as you may get a runner w/o being lvl2, it gives 2k as reward.
And you cant do just the one to get to "post-sear".
You have to do a string of primaries, or am I wrong?
Any consolation; I have all chapters.
Any method is welcome.

I don't think you can get past the training in NF, as you need to be level 5 to get a secondary profession. I think, but am not sure, that there are other level requirements.
As for Prophecies, I think that all you need to do is get your secondary then take the quest to leave presearing. I really don't think you need to do any of the others.

I was just wondering how many primaries I had to do...
As I just got to Ashford and I was half way to leveling (did 2 or 3 primaries, killed 1 scale, required)
I'm guessing Factions is my only real way,
but isn't that mission locked until I work up to it?

The only thing you have to do is do your 1 quest and then get secondary profession and then leave don't do any quests after that. This is Prophecies though.

Also one question; in NF all I need to do is beat that mission + primary stuff.
I'm really just going to jet to docks, then to Prophicies.
Is there anyway to get past that mission/profession skills without getting to lvl2?
From my first two attempts, I am lvl2 at the end of that mission. (I got 3 swords, I'm thinking standard wouldn't make me 2?)

Okay; I'll just do the pre-sear thing.

Don't know if at all this would work but, if you want to do this, then i suggest you don't gain any unneeded exp.
Lets take nf as example, that skip the tutorial, and when at the town ( mission) you get a guildie or a friend do the mission for you, u stay at start and try to get make sure his name is grey so you don't get exp for him killing the enemies.
Doesn't allot but every bit that you gain makes you you get next lvl faster.
Same thing for prophecies and factions, only get exp that there is no way to bypass it

I'm trying to do the opposite. Get to lv20 before leaving Istan so I can get Survivor. Hard work.
Anyway...its impossible in Factions or Nightfall. I heard its possible in Prophecies to get all the way to the end at lv1. But you'd have to have a team of bodyguards to protect you.

You mean getting to lvl 20 on istan hard? or getting lvl 20 AND survivor?
Cause only lvl 20 isnt that hard.

Vala; you missed your chance. The Rift Warden quests where about the easiest self-power level ever.
My buddy got from 3 to 20 in about 2 days of farming, and his paragon from 1 to 16 in 1 or 2.
Survivor was easy too, just needed practice.
And I made it, it was those damn kids doing PvP that almost made me level, you gain XP no matter what.
And Xen, I actually did your example scenario, twice.
It auto-levels when you get to Churrhur Fields (spelled wrong, I know)
Now to run thru to Citidel to get my Virtuoso's.

Now to run thru to Citidel to get my Virtuoso's. Prophecies - do main quests (kill blah, blah blah... get this, that and the other thing... etc.) You an do it at lvl 1 (almost lvl 2) - get run to droks, you stay by portal and let the runner run.
A mesmer can do it easily enough, get someone to party with you and do your quest (kill ox). You run to Devona while your partner kills ox. You chat with partner until the ox is dead (Partner - Killed Ox, you can come back now). You get 0 xp for killing ox, but you get xp for reward.
You must be outside of the mini-map to not get xp for kills (as in you can't see anyone or anything that is in battle on your mini-map).
Nightfall - Yeah, you can't do it, the boatmaster says you (and says your name in the text) are not permitted to leave. So you can't get a run.
Factions - I think you can leave noob island at lvl 2.
I've seen lvl 2 and 3 at Fire Island (getting runs from guildies and only completing Thunderhead Keep.

true enough that you can't get run through the docks mission however if you find someone that has the mhenlo quest at the docks to go to tyria or cantha you can tag along on those if you own the campaigns. my lvl 1 monk from elona has been playing in tyria and cantha first.
bobert_monduvia
looked like a fair oppurtunity to show off a bit....=)
definitely impossible....like everyone says =P

Like Age said. Do only the 2 important quests: The of your profession, than the 2nd profession. That's all

Lmao, love the one at the ring of fire, well played.
Also interesting to note that if u get run to Kamadan from Lions Arch u can pick up level 15 heroes.
Heres one after I started doing missions (hence the high level of the character lol).

NEVER level yourself if your an Elonian... you'll just end up stuck on Istan.
Just get people to do the quests for you in pre and you get 0 exp from the monsters themselves.
