Can a Dervish survive DoA?

Dervishes are pretty much hated, or just not wanted in any DoA group.

I've got guildies that I can go with, but I pretty much hate feeling useless.

So, does anyone have a build that can:
a. be the tank / bodyblocker
or
b. provide AoE offense?

I tried using the Enchantment Bomb build, didn't work all that well.

I've been playing with the VoS build someone posted in an earlier DoA thread. I think if you can get the timing right with your enchantments, and if the monk(s) can keep you alive while recasting your enchantments, it could work.

It's been a rather painful process so far.

The N/R brings the symbiosis... and could you explain the point of Avatar of Grenth in DoA?
That's not meant to be inflammatory, I really want to know.

It's about to prevent the ele spells, which hurt a lot.

Bring a dervish into DoA? There MUST be a less time-consuming way to toy with death, i'm sure.
