This thing will win you a game in less than 10 hours.

Distracting shot
Some sort of self healing, Troll Unguen't
Poison Arrow
Stances
Poison arrow is your killer here. Distract when they are self healing or using anything else. Use different stances to avoid damage. Troll when needed
Off the top of my head.

6. Whirling Defence
7. Troll Ungeunt
8. Ressurection Signet < You did say 1v1 but that is a rare situation, making it 2v1 via this can be helpful.

my guild has found a way to do 1v1, with gvg, so it will be in a 1v1 situation, everyone is a ranger
