Just wondering, since i'm not sure to make my ranger 2ndary Rt or P, the animation could be the breakthrough (don't discuss builds please).
I'm just wondering if the nice cast-animation works on 2ndary Paragons as well or only for paragon/any. I am at the time not able to try out myself .

Tanks in advance.

You will not get the exact same animation. You will still get tings like the wings that appear when you use a chant for example, but you will cast it with the style inherent to your primary profession (i.e. if you have a R/P you will cast your chant like you cast a spirit but you will see the wings appear on your back).

That sounds about okay . They are the most impressive cast-animations in GW yet, mostly thanks to the wings.

Thanks for the information.

I just made a new Ranger. I had considered R/P for "Go for the Eyes!" and Disrupting Accuracy... In the end I decided Mesmer, can't quite remember why...

So help me understand...the casting animations are what determines which professions to be played, rather than say, enjoying playing the class, functionality, synergy, useful builds or other such concerns?

GFTE+Stand Your Ground are a good ranger combination for PvE

I help you understand this:

This means I don't need people getting judgemental about how I choose classes (and I think it's somewhat clear I came down to these two and can't choose).
