which should i salvage?

I have a gold vampiric grinning axe of enchanting
dmg: 2-26
3/-1 vamp
20% enchanting

problem: no one wants it, so i cant sell as is. which should i salvage 1st vampiric or enchanting just in case it breaks and i lose one of them? why?

Thanx for ur input stuey, i went for the enchanting and the axe didn't break so i got em both.

enchanting is more valuable and generally easier to sell....
