how do I mix dyes to make other colors. my interest is making a gold dye

You have to apply a dye to a piece of armor to open the dye mixing screen. (Your dye doesn't get used until you click ok, so no worries)

yeah, there is no need to mix dyes anymore, the game does it for you.

Note that different armors are made of different materials and dye affects each one differently. Thus there is no one formula for any color. Play around with the colors to see what works for the armor you are trying to dye.

Example: My paragon's armor just needed plain old orange to get a gold color.

Funny that coz I find the yellow dye makes a better looking gold on my Paragon. Each to their own spose. You're right tho, if I put a yellow on my Warrior, it looks yellow. Weird.

If you want to have a starting idea for dye combinations theres many dye charts that can be found on the internet heres the chart from guild wiki and the one from guru. The dye preview should help you tweak it more to your liking.
