The last day dawns upon the hall of the guild...
...leaving Ascalon to be defended by the very last line of defense, often noobish and useless, but sometimes a shining bastion of unexpected competency...
...the PUG.
Mission 1: The Bridge over the River Styx
Background:
This bridge, situated up north in the Char-infested wastelands of Ascalon, is the only bridge across a former river now tar-bed for miles around. The stream of tar can be crossed on foot, true, but the same cannot be said for wagons bearing arms and foodstuffs supplying Ascalon Vanguard elements operating in the region. Holding the bridge as much of the time as possible is key the operative strategy of this region.
Deployed forces:
Two PUG members, estimated level 10.
Create ONE (1, yi, uno, un) character, either using the template below or not, but in any case be sure to include all the information in the template. Your character will then be teamed up with another character, randomly chosen. Make sure your character's build can perform the objectives listed below!
For example,
Name: Stefan Jr.
Class: Warrior (no secondaries allowed yet)
Attributes: Swordsmanship, Tactics (your character has only enough points to raise two attributes to a non-trivial level)
Skills: Sever Artery, Sprint, Healing Signet (maximum 5 skills from Prophecies and Core, no elites.)
Other: (if you like roleplaying, describe your character here, or explain skill chains and such if they are not blatantly obvious)
Objectives:
Primary: Hold the bridge against Charr patrols of two or less.
Primary: Fall back and break aggro if faced against a Charr attack of insurmountable odds.
Secondary: In case of such an attack, fight a delaying action for as long as possible (while staying alive) before being forced to retreat.
Expected Opposition:
Two-Charr patrols have been spotted in the area, and there are rumours of a larger assault force tasked to recapturing the bridge.
Submit your characters (post, don't PM me), and we can all see what kind of character you would use for a random pickup group for this sort of quest. And then for the fun part...

(Just to make things clear... what you do is: 1) submit a character, 2) see what happens to him or her.)
