Hey, I just started with my first dervish, and allready made the build I want to be playing. But I wondered if u had some tips?

1. Heart of Fury

Enchantment Spell. For 5...17 seconds, you attack 33% faster. When this Enchantment ends, all nearby foes are set on fire for 1...3 seconds.
10 energy

2. Reaper's Sweep
Elite Scythe Attack. If this attack hits, you deal +10...34 damage. If your target was below 50% Health, you also inflict a Deep Wound for 5...17 seconds. 5 energy 8 recharge

3. Chilling Victory
Scythe Attack. If it hits, this attack strikes for +5...17 damage. Whenever it hits a foe who has less Health than you, target foe and all adjacent foes are struck for 15...51 cold damage. 10 Energy

4. Mystic Sweep
Melee Attack. If this attack hits, you deal +5...9 damage for each Enchantment on you (maximum 30 bonus damage). 5 Energy 4 recharge

5. Victorious Sweep
Melee Attack. If this attack hits, you deal +1...25 damage. If the target foe has less Health than you, you gain 30...70 Health. 5 Energy 4 recharge

6. Faithful Intervention
Enchantment Spell. If damage drops your Health below 50%, Faithful Intervention ends. When Faithful Intervention ends, you are healed for 30...126 Health. 5 Energy 20 Recharge

7. Mystic Regeneration
Enchantment Spell. For 20 seconds, you have +1...3 Health regeneration for each Enchantment on you. 10 energy 5 Recharge

8.Rez

My main concern is the energy, can I manage the build with it?

And I didnt know were to find those images that also display the skill effects. ò.O

greets.

With only the three enchantments and none being stripped I can't imagine mysticism giving you much mana back. Although your attacks are very low in Energy so might be spammable. It's kinda close to the build I'm using currently, I just haven't capped any dervish elites yet. I'm trying to play it safe and go for legendary survivor.

I use the following :

[skill]Conviction[/skill][skill]Mystic Regeneration[/skill][skill]Vital Boon[/skill][skill]Faithful Intervention[/skill][skill]Heart of Holy Flame[/skill][skill]Crippling Sweep[/skill][skill]Pious Assault[/skill][skill]Rebirth[/skill]

It's not tremendously damage oriented, but seems to work well enough. I sometimes replace [skill]Crippling Sweep[/skill] with [skill]Grenth's Fingers[/skill], but I really like the Holy damage of [skill]Heart of Holy Flame[/skill] for undead destruction, it really shines there.

As for displaying skills, on this forum use the skill command, found here.

I was thinking of replacing chilling victory with lyssa's assault
And spamming it alot

Like this:

[skill]heart of fury[/skill] [skill]Lyssa's Assault[/skill] [skill]Reaper's Sweep[/skill] [skill]Mystic Sweep[/skill] [card]Victorious sweep[/card] [card]Faithful Intervention[/card] [card]Mystic Regeneration[/card] Rez

This is what I had in mind, I dont really know the total energy of the Dervish, but if its 35 or more, this build should work if you spam lyssa's assault frequentley:

Before battle:
Dig in Mystic regeneration, and after cast Faithful an heart of fury, (25 energy)

In battle: Spam lyssa's (10 energy) for a bit of energy management (+13 energy with 16 scythe mastery)

Away from you.

An ability with 8 second recharge isn't exactly "spammable" I would think.

Keep in mind that Lyssa's Assault also costs 10 energy so your net is only 3 with the 13 energy gain it gives at 16 scythe. Plus, you have to have at least 10 to use it. It works well at the front end of an assault combo but not toward the end when energy can be at a premium.

Also, my experience with mystic sweep is that it works well early when you can keep your enchants up, but can have problems later when they are stripped more often (or in PVP for that matter). Like someone mentioned you might want to try [skill]Wild Blow[/skill] instead.

Finally, as to your energy question, depending on your armor most dervs energy sits around 28-32. (Some less some more but not by much) That being said, just mystic regen and heart of fury are going to knock down your energy by about a two thirds when you start the battle. That means for the next 20 seconds or so you will only have 10 energy plus your regen to help you. Instead of having four mele skills, you may want to try getting rid of Lyssa's and add something like [skill]Zealous Renewal[/skill] to help manage your energy. If you cast it prior to battle, when it is stripped or ends you will get an energy boost and you can re-apply it cheaply because of the energy gained from mysticism.

Having just [skill]Reaper's Sweep[/skill] [skill]Wild Blow[/skill] and [card]Victorious sweep[/card] as your mele enchants should be spammable and cheap.

But Zealous renewal is 10 energy as well.

I was thinking of [wiki]Mhedi's Vow[/wiki]

That has a +5 energy prefix
So that brings my Energy to something like 35,(-1 energy pip)
Faithful only costs 5e, and its cast in a new zone, so that doesnt effect your energy at all 'cause thats regained in a few sec.

So, I'll have to cast [skill]Mystic Regeneration[/skill] (10 e), [skill]Zealous Renewal[/skill] (10 e) and [skill]Heart of Fury[/skill] (10 e), thats 30 energy total, which leaves me with only 5 e left. If Zealous renewal is stripped off in the beginning of the battle, that doesnt provide that much e (right?) and if it isnt stripped off at all, then it would take 20 seconds to gain the energy boost, and in that time it's going to be hard to use all 3 of the melee skills : [skill]Reaper's Sweep[/skill], [skill]Wild Blow[/skill] and [skill]Victorious Sweep[/skill]

Correct me if I'm wrong =P

Yep, it does cost 30. All of it really depends on at what point you usually cast your enchantments. At least this way you should have a return midway through a battle. I was throwing out zealous renewal as an option, I just think you could probably use something else in that slot with more utility rather than lyssa's assault, maybe [skill]conviction[/skill] for the armor buff? I would suggest testing out what you prefer and going from there. I just think using the three other mele's as your spam may be enough. Test it and if you are having mele down time, lyssa's is a good option when used at the front end of an attack chain. For me, I found it difficult to use other than the front end of a battle but it could be different with your build.

I just wanted to add that this build rocks for the survival rank.

Just made the dervish with this build (only replaced [skill]Reaper's Sweep[/skill] with [skill]Mystic Sweep[/skill])

I tried this build for farming (don't laugh) Iboga's and stormceed jarcana's etc.
For someone on the noob island, incriptions can make a lot of money. And I can stay alive on my own perfectly. Made a couple of K the last few hours. And its going well with the survival rank aswell =D. Just wanted to let you know!

Thnx!

I usually run
[skill]Victorious Sweep[/skill][skill]Wild Blow[/skill]free slot[skill]Reaper's Sweep[/skill][skill]Conviction[/skill] [skill]Vital Boon[/skill] [skill]Faithful Intervention[/skill][skill]Pious Restoration[/skill]

Free slot's usually rez, Aura of Thorns, Lightbringer's Gaze, or Distracting Blow depending on where I am. Pious Restoration's handy once you start fighting Margonites and Awakened Defilers. Just run it at 4 spec, the lowest you need to dump two hexes. Before that I ran Whirling Charge or Featherfoot Grace. I'm also a fan of Heart of Fury but this build's pretty heavy on the energy as is.

I haven't tried Zealous Renewal yet, but from watching Melonni's bar in combat it looks pretty darned effective.
