I usually use keys only when i find them as drops, except for obsidian keys, that i buy each time that i go to fow/uw, but paying 1,5k to get trash (like happenned to me in these days) isn't funny

Sometimes chests give good things, but A LOT of times they drop things that only the npc merchant wants to take.

i had a superior absorption out of a chest in the southern shiverpeaks. made ALL those keys that i bought worth while!

NO, because Im very stingy with gold. I only use gold for armor/weapons/giving away. I dont like gambling on chests.

While I typicaly don't buy keys, I do use the ones I find.

I don't like chests anymore. Whenever I find a key to a chest, those chests somehow vanish and I can never find one to use the key on. Then of course the drop will be awful even if I did finally find a chest. I'd never waste money on buying keys to nearly non-existant chests.

I only buy FoW and UW keys as I always get good chest drops there.
When I'm taking a char through Shiverpeak Missions and Ring Of Fire missions I will usually buy a few Shiverpeak and Darkstone keys.
Occassionally I will get good stuff from those chests.
Usually though the Shiverpeak chest drops are completely crap.
Sometimes desert chests give ok stuff.
I wish these chests would be given some kind of "makeover"

I buy keys anytime from shiverpeaks onwards even though alot of the time chests are purple. I kinda feel obligated incase i miss one that is gold 
When i am with guildies we take turns opening first and if its purple the rest just leave it. This saves forking out a fortune.
