Now before a kind admin comes along and closes this thread and refers me to
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10071589 as though i haven't run a search first i'll quote whats described on wiki. The above thread doesn't answer my question and is full of bickering about which sword/mod is best.

The Elemental Sword has the shape resembling both fire and ice. However, unlike the Fiery Dragon Sword, Icy Dragon Sword or Fiery Gladius, the "fire" and "ice" are not animated and are part of the sword itself. Also, since it has no fixed elemental sword hilt, that means it can be upgraded with another hilt.

It has been reported that this sword drops from chests in the Realm of Torment and the Desolation. The sword also drop in Dasha Vestibule (Mission) out of chests. It is unknown if they drop after the mission too.

Now as you can see it states that the sword drops in Dasha Vestibule mission out of chests. So i would like to know if anyone can confirm this as my search as not come up with any mention of this on guru forum. I have run through this mission god knows how many times now, even searching the area behind the 3 bosses at the end each time and as of yet have not even found a chest nevermind the sword :P

I'm hoping its simply a case of an ultra rare chest that appears but common sense is telling me i'm flogging a dead horse :P Anyone know if this claim is true?
I'd rather repeat this mission over and over than spend a few hundred k chest running as i prefer to stick with 600g chests for title hunt as 99.9% of stuff that come out of them are useless to me and i have no interest in standing about all day selling stuff!

Someone also mentioned Djinn dropping them, any 55Dasha farmers experienced this?

There are no chests in Nightfall missions, aside from the Dasha Vestibule-specific ones that drop the Treasures of Ahdashim. Whoever put that in the wiki was wrong.

Sry didn't see this reply, thought i posted it in a different section and couldn't find it and assumed it hadn't loaded so made a thread in Q&A section :P

btw Savio do you not think your a little trigger happy when it comes to closing threads. Just delete irrelevant posts rather than closing threads and forcing people to start new threads to re-initiate discussions :P

@Bogus it's just that finding this 133t sword is "asked" every day 24-7 so it's old and annoying when the next person post a thread like this,,

I found an Ele sword in a chest.....
i "think my friend found one here...
where can i farm for an Ele sword...
does the flame on the sword animate?
where can if find this sword...

there is a thread already on where to farm/find/chest this sword up the ying yang. so making the 100k +++ is no serect.

oh ya.. on topic.. just ran that mission for kicks and no chest found anywhere! can i get back my 30 mins?

That i can appreciate. But when every thread found in search is closed and none mention Dasha vestibule mission chests when wiki suggests it can be found there then i'm left with no option to start a thread to ask my question rather than an active one. I'm a seasoned chest runner so am fully aware of the randomness of them. This would have been my preferred choice to farm them but as i need lightbringer points on a few chars i'll do the margonite ones enroute instead and hope lady luck falls my way. I have no interest in selling them i want them for my own chars

At any rate, it seems INTUITIVELY sound that elemental swords would drop in any chest in Vabbi + from elementals but that could just be how the rumor started.
