Goren in Dasha Broken?
Cherno
Ever since this past weekend's update, Goren has gone totally passive in the Dasha Vestibule mission.
When I have played through it before he was almost too agressive, but now when we engage in battle, called targets or not, he simply stands there. If I die and send henchies away, he stands there all by his lonesome saying "kill me please!"

Yeah, I did this mission last night and he just stood around towards the back of the party. Actually made it nice and easy, so I'm not complaining.
Another solution: don't die. That's an easy mission to flawless w/ hero/hench.

True, I normally don't have a problem with it, but sometimes things can go back against the rubys or the bosses and wipe out all the effort.
Guildie is reporting that Goren is broken as a normal henchie as well. Has him on Aggressive and he is just standing around.

Yeh must've completed this mission atleast 10 times last night looking for an ele sword chest grrrr waste of time ;p
I find he basically stays by your side. When i did it first few times with 55IW Mes he was with me all the way in the mix of it. When i switched to ranger he was very passive. If in a pug team....get a ranged player to lead the group, set Margrid up as interrupt with winter, shouldn't have any problems

I was playing my monk as an active smiter with variants of all backline or backline with a warrior, no difference.

Same thing in the pohgan passage mission, kormir and the other person don't do anything, which i'm thankful for.. they kept on getting in the way the last few times i did it. Only problem now is that kormir likes to stay still if you rush away to quickly, it's annoying.
Cherno
Big difference between Dasha and Poghan. I have never once seen Kormir and Shalai (?) take any dmg, almost as if they aren't even attached to the party list, I don't even know if they CAN be killed in that mission? Goren was always in the thick of it as soon as battle initiated.

During the first few weeks of nightfall the second person could most definately die. After i finnaly finished that mission i decided not to pick margrid again till recently, so i don't know when exactly she was changed. and yes, i know goren used to be in the thick of it, but he's easy to keep alive so i don't see why he was made passive like kormir is in certain places, i.e. the last mission.

I was doing Ruins of Norah last night and Devona just stood there doing pretty much nothing.

On one attempt while farming this i killed two of the bosses at the end and left my group at the top of the stairs while i tried to sneak past the final boss at the end to check the area behind them. Goren's not the fastest runner and aggroed the remainding boss and got killed before he was out of range, so he can still die.

Ruby Djinn appear to be related to Flame Djinn. Like other Djinn, they are often found guarding specific areas. The Ruby Djinn in Vabbi and The Desolation use different skills and drop different loot.
Ruby Djinn are vulnerable to cold damage and resistant to fire damage.
I do this mission stupidly easy with Margrid as interrupt winter, P/W support hero, SF ele, 2 hench monks, ele hench and illusion hench

And the Sapphire Djinn are vulnerable to fire damage and resistant to cold. So...
Reminds me of some peep in Sebelkeh who demanded my ranger use Winter because he read that the Unbound Energies may be vulnerable to cold. There wasn't a single ele in the party. Even it there was, Winter does not exist to serve eles who can't change their bar.

That 1 2 punch for me eliminates most of the problems on Dasha and on Gate of Pain missions.

I was responding to Bogus, not you. However...
The bow can't be an icy one because...why, exactly?

If you already bring a ranger, use Broadhead arrow instead. Saves the necro bulks of energy.
Oso Minar
Goren's dumb. Didn't you pick up on that fact?
BogusDude
Like i say only the ruby and fire boss cause any concern, i can stand there and go make a coffee even with winter up and leave it to the hench if there was only sapphire djinn to fight. You don't need winter up for every battle but helps big time when theres 2 or 3 rubies in the area. Most importantly its for the boss at the end, with winter up he dies real quick.
EDIT: and yes spinal shivers and broadhead arrow are also good skills to take on this mission, but as Margrid is a compulsory requirement for any team on this mission it makes sense to equip winter on her imho!
