Making of Guild Wars Nightfall Collector's Edition DVD

I have been off work for a few days with the flu, and didn't even feel well enough to log on to Guild Wars!

Anyway, I decided yesterday to dig out the "Making of" DVD that came with the Collector's Edition and finally watch it.

For those of you who like me have never watched this DVD, it is WELL worth watching!

ANet looks like a great place to work :-))

The DVD is full of fun and interesting things and some very funny lines, and it is nice to put faces to many of the ANet employee names you see around the forums.

I have to admit to yelling at the designer of the Sandshard Crag for designing such an evil monster <G>, but also laughing once more at the wonderful rock/rain beetles.

There are some very funny lines too. My favourite being at the end:

Quote: "If I met a girl at a bar or something, I don't think I would tell her I was a game designer"... LOL!

And I saw "Hengis" in the Video where they show an extract from the Halloween event. I was up the front in the chase Gaille conga :-))

Anyway, if you have the Collector's Edition of Nightfall, and have never watched the DVD, it is well worth watching.

I am feeling well enough today to log back on to Guild Wars.. so those Termites had better watch today out because the Termite Slayer cometh!

I didn't buy the collectors as i wanted to get standard and PvP edition for unlocks... (Plus i could always nick one set of collectors bits off one of my guildies to have a look)

It's kind of late for this thread, Nightfall CE was about 3-4 months ago?

Anyway it is worth getting for the DVD. It provides insight into the motivations behind the game. They got inspiration from so many sources, according to the video.
