The Power is Yours! is not as useless as I thought previously. With this build you can keep using it every 30s or so providing them with some decent energy while keeping (minor) pressure on the other team with your spear.

This is a pvp build that seems like it would be useful in gvg and maybe in HA.

I could see this build being used to support a caster heavy team or even a balanced team. My impression is that it would really well for a pressure team build. I'm guessing that it would also work nicely for a VoD team build. I'd like to hear feedback on whether it would be useful to dedicate a slot to this build or not.

Motivation 11 + 1 + 2
Leadership 10 + 2
Spear 10 + 1

[skill]"The Power is Yours!"[/skill] [skill]Aria Of Zeal[/skill] [skill]Lyric Of Zeal[/skill] [skill]Signet Of Synergy[/skill] [skill]Energizing Chorus[/skill] [skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

and 2 of the following depending on the rest of your team:
[skill]Zealous Anthem[/skill] [skill]Ballad Of Restoration[/skill] [skill]Aria Of Restoration[/skill] [skill]Aggressive Refrain[/skill] [skill]Anthem of Flame[/skill]

Get your adrenaline up to atleast 3 strikes. Use Aria of Zeal, followed by PiY!, then Lyric of Zeal (when it's charged), followed by Signet of Synergy. When Energizing Chorus is charged use it. Repeat the cycle.

Despite the energy degen from PiY!, you should have no energy problems due to the energy gain from the adrenaline chants and the signet.

You can repeat the cycle around every 30ss while giving your team an energy boost of 8 (PiY!) + 6 (Aria of Zeal if they use a spell) + 8 (Lyric of Zeal) if they use a signet. Assuming your monks have Sig of Devotion that's 22e every 30s for both of them. The rest of your team's casters will gain 14e every 30s.

If you were to cycle through every 30s the energy gain per second comes out to .73 for your monks and .46 for the rest of the team's casters. Compare that to the .48e gained per second using the elite MoR at 10 Inspiration and the energy gain seems quite high considering you're buffing your whole party.

Notes:
- I could maybe see this build being useful in 8v8 HA too.
- Stopping adrenaline gain will gimp this build big time.
- Aggressive refrain can be used to build adrenaline faster if so desired while adding pressure.
- PiY will not drain your energy into the negative afaik, so a negative energy offhand can come in handy.
- You gain 14e (net gain 4e) when you use PiY so lowering your energy pool slightly below max before using it is optimal.
- This build is weakened against against splits due to the reduced energy gained back from leadership. Also, less allies are affected by your shouts/chants.
- If you can get other team members to fit a signet into their builds, your whole party will get a ton of energy to work with.

- Some numbers: You lose 33e from the 10s of -10 e-degen. You gain 4e (10e - 8e + another 6e from leadership) from PiY!. You gain 20e from the 2 adrenaline chants + the signet. The chant you use following Energizing Chorus has its cost reduced by 7e. If it's a 10e chant, it becomes a 3e chant which gains you 6e from leadership resulting in a net gain of 3e.
Energy lost = 33e
Energy gained = 4 + 20 + 3 = 27e
Net loss = 6e

Once the e-degen stops, your natural e-regen will get you 6e in 9s.

The reason I like this build is that it makes it so that the rest of your party has the equivalent of an elite e-management skill while being able to bring another elite. And depending on what you do with the remaining 2 skill slots, this build can add some pressure on its own or buff party members attacks for some added pressure.

Comments and feedback welcome.

I've used the following setup:

Aria of Zeal, ballad of restoration, "The Power Is yours", Lyric of zeal, Blazing Spear, Glowing Signet

The sequence being: 1, 2 ,3 then wait for energy degen to drop while attacking, then 4, 5, 6. And you are at full energy back again.

The whole cycle takes 20 sec.

I actually really like this build. I always thought the aria's of energy were interesting.

This could put the Paragon on a whole new level of PvE (probably high level/elite missions) and PvP. Perhaps choose a secondary of /W for the extra [skill]"Watch Yourself!"[/skill] Its a earshot buff and gives you adrenaline converted energy.

Maybe even [skill]"Fear Me!"[/skill]
