Roller-Beetle Racing and Cooking Competition: Very cool Anet!

Title says it all, Roller-beetle racing shows that Anet realises how popular wurm riding is. I'm very interested to see how this works, and if it will be as fun as riding wurms!

Plus, the event is including all 3 campaigns, a triple bonus in my opinion for those who don't own factions.

Also cooking is a HUGE surprise. Most people are against RL skills, but I'm wondering how this part of the event will work. If we actually prepair food, it may be a sign to how Ch4 may pan out. Don't get me wrong, I love PvP and PvE of Guild Wars, but having fun cooking can't hurt now can it?

I totally LOVE both of these ideas, and I think Anets taking a very large step in the right direction to giving us what we want in the game, fun!

What do you all think? I'm excited!

Canthan New Years ftw

It will probably be about gathering cooking ingredients more than actual cooking.

Its probably like those CHEF quests in Kamadan where you collect Drake meat and then you tade it at a Chef (collector) for a Kabob, I doubt we will be doing any of our own cooking.

You may be right, but I'm still thinking we will be doing our own cooking...we don't know till the event happens do we?

I'm hoping Anets creative with this, I know they can be!
