Ladies and gentlemen,
last weekend there had been the NCsoft Europe Guild Wars Winter Party in Brighton, UK, and we had been there and we had some decent fun and we did meet several people and we made some photos and now we even did write a review of the whole thing:

Might not be as stuffed with infos as the community day at ArenaNet in Seattle but it might be worth a look nevertheless.
Bye,

They're party poopers, sorry.
Disappointing if hard mode is just time attack; many people hated that type of mission because it screwed up PUG mentality even more than it already was.

Definitely frontpage newsworthy. Thanks T.T.H.

They didn't say anything about the hard mode on the party.
Only our little PvE Contest was a time attack.

Yeah, the time attack game was just a bit of fun. It has nothing to do with the "Hard Mode" that is being worked on.
I've read the article, but I cannot remember if it is mentioned or not: The Sealed Deck tournament we ran was Prophecies+Core only. 5 teams participated, and the guys'n'gal from Black Emporer went undefeated. The final match was bE vs a team that included JR and Elendar.
We'll have an official report of the event on the page TTH linked to next week.

I own you both. As far as Zinger's reply, it's not just reading, it's reading comprehension. That means after reading the quote you listed, I kept reading and found the quote I posted, which stated they were not the same. Since the first quote was much more vague, you then assume that the second one, being more specific, is the correct one.

Yup, it was fun! Tho it would have been cooler if we'd managed to pull off more unique PvE stuff. (and if my team hadn't consisted of 2 guys with no elites; 3 eles and a monk :S)
And at last, confimation about Favour and UW/FoW Also interesting was Izzy's comment that one of the hard things about skill balence was PVE

Nice little report.
quote:"PvP nerds", is a bit unnecessary though. you are entitled to your own opinion, but if you open this write up to the public as you do by this thread, taking a piss at the pvp population is unnecessary.
