Hi guys.
I recently added GW's to my computer and I'm having a great time playing it, but I have a problem.
Whenever I go into a town or somewhere where there are alot of NPC's or RL Players then the game locks up and starts freezing, and it takes me ages to walk somewhere.
Now, I wanna sort this out quickly so I don't have any trouble when I try to do group hunts later in the game.
This usually happens when I enter a place like Ascaron. I just freeze and can't move if there are alot of people there. I usually just switch to a more empty District, but it takes about 2 minutes for the drop down menu to appear because it's going so slow, and my computer should be able to handle it anyway.
Thanks for any help!

IS that what you needed? I dunno if that will be enough, lol

The vanta processor from nVidia is an extremely weak integrated solution. It is a twin texel 3D processor, not a graphics card. I recommend HIGHLY you add a low cost graphics card into your computer.
How much system memory (RAM) for you have? 512MB? 1GB? 2GB? that is crucial for us to know.

I think it's something highly disgusting, like 256MB :S It's not anything higherr then that. I fact, thinking about it i KNOW its 256MB. That's bad, huh?

First upgrade your ram to at least 1 gig, that will help out tremendously. Next is too look at getting a dediicated video card. I run a laptop with a 1.8 ghz processor within it and the game doesn't ever put the cpu usage over 40%. The ammount of ram that you have in your machine now is forcing Windows and Guild Wars to be run out of the "Virtual Memory" file on your harddrive. By upgrading to more ram you give both a lot more leg-room to work with instead of using the slow hard drive to run.
