Dreadnought is a big guy with really heavy armor and a REALLY BIG weapon (like flail, 2-handed axe, 2-handed sword etc...
Dreadnought's AL would be like 90-100 max.
Max Energy: 15 (with energy + armor like 20)
2 pips energy regen
Max Health is 500.
All weapons are 2handed and attack speed would be slow like 2.1 sec.
Attributes:
Flail Mastery: No inherent effect. Increases damage done by flail and enchances skills linked in flail mastery.
2H Sword Mastery: No inherent effect. Increases damage done by 2h sword and enchances skills linked in 2h sword mastery.
2h Axe Mastery: No inherent effect. Increases damage done by 2h axe and enchances skills linked in 2h axe mastery.
Endurance: Increases health by 5% for each point in endurance.
Well... that's all i managed to invent... let me know if u have some suggestions for this...

i like it, should have allot of defense to protect that hp from assassins. i got this image of juggernaut (the guy from x-men) only with more armor. could have another weapon mastery like fists. good job =)

Hmm...Which attribute is the primary? Otherwise it sounds cool.

Interesting concept. I really do not think the warrior fullfils the roll of a tank as well as it should. Here's what i think. I think this class should be able to draw attacks on to himself. Call it taunting, this could be one of his attributes. He should have AL of 100 and i think endurance was a good idea as well. For his last two attributes i think a 2h sword with big slow hits and a wide radius dmging weapon that does less dmg but is capable of hitting more opponants(i think this should be in a small radius, not just adjacent, alot like scyth except more useful). I think it is a flaw in the game that a monk has to deal with healing his entire group AND have to worry about some sin pwning him. To settle this i think this new class should be able to absorb dmg directed at his allies but, at the same time to not make him absolutely invincible the higher the endurance lvl the less healing spells affect him.

hmmm I like this alot, too much, so much im going to draw a model........
even though its probably short notice for them this would go good with gw4 since if its true heavy armor goes good with the cold

and what function could such a monstrosity possibly offer beyond the existing roles we already have?

The dreadnoughts AL would be worse than a warrior who wields a shield. That defeats the purpose of the class.

I think that there armor should have a balance penalty.......and ya max damage with slow hits, I think that there spells shouldent be that great because the thing doing the job is that axe......
