I just took to long to give some feedback on SP.
I hope it's okay to post here.
So the changed spiritual pain works fine against enemies that use spirits, including the skree, kournan and afflicted, ect.
I was using it quite a bit in several areas with spirits in PVE.
I hate to complain, but even though I have grown to very much like the new functionality, it is very energy draining and I'm often only hitting the spirit plus 1 enemy with spiritual pain.
So I am suggested in the gwguru idea forum to lower the AOE damage done around the target, but make it so that if the target is a spirit, you steal some 1...3 energy from the spirit.
Anyone think that is too powerful? It's a tradeoff for getting back some energy for doing less damage to anyone standing next to the spirit.
I have spammed spiritual pain and am running out of energy before killing the spirit, let alone doing probably a total 200-250 points of damage to the person next to the spirit.
I just want to make it as useful as unnatural signet, in PvE, by having enough energy to cast a couple of more times to finish off the spirit.
