I'm a lazy person.I m lazy to turn my camera and click on my drops to pick them up.I,a lazy person suggests to add a "auto-pick-up" key which can be pressed on ur keyboard and your character will pick up items reserved for you in the area and also drops that is not reserved for anybody. The character will pick up drops one-at-a-time whenever u pressed the shortcut key!I hope, all lazy peopl in gw will like this!

There us a key to select the nearest item reserved to you.
There is a key to interact with the current selected item, NPC, or player.

Are you really so lazy that you can't hit two keys on your keyboard to pick up an item?

Press ";" to target nearest item
Press "Space Bar" to pick it up

No need for an auto-pick-up key i think.

That's exactly "why not", in my opinion.

Guild Wars is, at its core, a competitive game - it shouldn't be easy, cater to lazy people. If you really find hitting ; + Space to be an issue, then just remap the keys to ; + ' and hit them at the same time.

Oh noes, is it really that hard to walk from Ascalon to Lion's Arch?
Let's remove map traveling for the lazy people! - Competive spirit!

TBH, i'd like a gather everything key, just as in Dungeon Siege back then, it was very nice.

I discovered the keyboard shortcut during the "grab the presents" days of Winterfest. The ; key is inconvenient for me, so I just remapped it to the 0 on my numpad. (I've mapped my skills to 1-8 on the numpad). I can pick up stuff very quickly now while continuing to fight.

Your comparison doesn't hold up.

The ability to "map travel" to a location is something you must earn before you can use it. You can't instantly travel to a location without first walking/running/fighting to it. This ability is more of a reward for players than a convenience, although yes, to an extent, it does cater to the lazy players. However, at least the player must earn the ability, so they can't be all that lazy (unless of course there was a runner involved, but that really can't be helped in the Prophecies campaign - and even then, one must find a runner and supply them with gold, which is sometimes a hassle in and of itself).

The difference between having to pound (or C-Space, whichever the case may be) through fields of AI and having to hit two keys that are right next to each other is pretty obvious.

OP, if you aren't careful, people will begin to think you are lazy.

Better yet just make drops for me go directly into my bag...I'm not joking either. Okay maybe just a bit...Just into my bag not telling anyone what it is just that I got one...no more "can I have that....NO fair...OMGZ....blah, blah, blah." That and I find it irritating that there are some people that will stop in the middle of battle to run off and pick up a white drop...damn ppl finish the battle and then pick it up...you have 10mins to claim it.

It would be a nice feature to have but ; space bar works

I think game should be based on the player's awareness. So, as a player, you got to watch out =D
Anyway, I like it when unaware people get a cool item, and don't' know about it. So I just kind of "squat" on it until I can get it.
Don't question that method please, it got me two ectos in the same run.
