Just an idea that popped in my head.
What if in the new campaign, they had a new version of bean cakes. Like for instance; more money: you get a faster speed boost, and it puts you on a mount! For 5-10 minutes?
(if this has been suggested I am very sorry )
Mounts = suger rush

Some things that make it different from WoW make it worse than WoW (and Visa Versa)
I think it's a reasonable idea - but they should be quest rewards - not bought. I was also thinking of a skill which gives a speed boost and summons a mount for the duration of the skill ; or something along them lines.

CONTRARY to popular silliness:
Blizzard/WoW does not own exclusive rights to player mounts, playable races or the use of the internet to play online games.
Neither, did Blizzard/WoW actually invent any of those things.
So, let's stuff that silliness where it belongs.
I think mounts in Guild Wars would be largely useless unless you could use them in combat.
Perhaps via jousting tournaments or a calvary based PvP arena challenge.

GW isn't WoW, and it's been suggested before.
