NOTE: You must have every chapter of the game to use this build.
For those of you who like pictures explaining things, here you go:

So lets dive right in and go straight to the SKILLS:
Storm Chaser
Serpents Quickness
Stone Striker
Sliver Armor
Stoneflesh Aura
Armor of Earth
Obsidian Flesh {E}
Glyph of Concentration
and of course you will want the ATTRIBUTES
16 Earth Magic
4 Energy Storage
12 Wilderness Survival
and last and pretty much the least significant part of the guide, EQUIPMENT
Just use any armor, geomancers is +20 armor... but i have battlemages and still consistently took 0 damage so... whatever you fancy.
YOU MUST have a +20% longer enchantments. i used a Khepket's Refuge because theyre cheap and give 15 energy. Galigords would work fine. Your own customized +20energy, +20% longer enchantments will work even better, but seriously equipment doesnt matter. just that 20% longer enchant.
HOW TO SOLO
Since im sure many of you are familiar with the Thirsty River mission. Its one of those awful Crystal Desert missions which nobody actually do, they usually fail a few times and then give into the runner for the mission. Thats exactly where you come in

and if you wanna know how to do the mission and what order: http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Thirsty_River
STEPS
1. Get your party, enter the mission.
2. Use Storm Chaser to run to the Ghostly Hero (northwest of the start point), watch out for devourers and their traps, you might want to use Stoneflesh Aura along the way.
3. Tell people to skip the scene. seriously boring scene. (i believe this is important enough for a step)
4. After running into the first mob, before you enter cast, in this order; Obsidian Flesh {E}, Serpents Quickness (while you are in the middle of Obs Flesh), Stoneflesh Aura, Armor of Earth, Stone Striker, Sliver Armor, Obs Flesh, Storm Chaser... rinse and repeat. Get the Priest first. This is generally very easy. You might want to move back as far as you can and then cast sliver. When facing caster bosses or the Priest the Sliver might target enemy warriors first, but thats fine... as long as you kill the preist before an even minute.
5. Take the hero and let him open the doors, take him back as far as you feel like, you can assign one of the people to be his boss and lead him places... w/e, its something for them to do. Now notice in the 2nd arena here there are RANGERS... oh noes. Well, you have Glyph of Concentration for a reason. Let your enchantments last as long as possible mitigating your chances to lose an enchantments to time when the glyph is recharging, it isnt too hard but just keep an eye on your enchantments. You can cast stone striker with dazed... but i wouldnt suggest it because its oh so easy to interupt a 1/2 second cast when theres 20 of them attacking you.
6. Kill the necro... or the ele... whatever one you fancy. just kill the priest, then the boss, then whatever is left. Dont feel bad if its to hard to kill one of those pesky leftovers with sliver armor, once again those lazy freeloaders (which are giving you money, so technically...) will have something fun to do and also it will go just that little bit faster.
7. Keep going to the LAST CHAMBER, wooo. Basically the same tactic, theres more rangers... OH and you might need to aggro some people from other teams to get the DPS of sliver armor high enough to kill that Monk boss... and the priest (kill the priest first, of couse). Then theres a ranger and a warrior... which are both nice and easy... except you might need to once more aggro some opposing parties to kill the warrior since i found it hard to target him with sliver... so basically kill the monk first, then the war, then the ranger.
8. Collect that cold, shining platinum from those ... nice people.
FIN
i did the run in a little less than an hour on my first try, died once... but if you mess up you can always run ... limp ... away.
Here are a few more pictures of some other things i tried soloing (more to come):
