ok this is my idea how GW should continue. I was trying tocome up with an idea for a new class and i realised that everything i could come up with were the old chars with new names and appearance. 90% of the skills that i see in other ppls ideas r like that, youdont have to create 2 more classes for them just add new skills to existing ones, i dont think we need more classes that youfinish the game with them and you realise you cant get into a party for an elite mission etc. So i was thinking the next chapter shouldnt even introduce a new continent as others have. this time it should focus on extending the PvE game in more RPG like ways for the existing continents.
ok i ll explain better. My idea is that in every chapter just after the player beats the last boss and he is famous now, two ''sects'' come to speak tou him. one sect is the good side, the ppl who want to use the new hero as an example of greatness and as a weapon in their on going fight against the second sect the evil side. now on their behalf they approach the hero and try to lure him with promises of wealth and power if he helps them with their cause. Then you have to change which side, eachside gives you more missions to do in order to gain new titles that have to do with the side you pick. Moreover new areas should be added in every chapter instead of creating a new continent, Large areas and different than those we havealready explored like posh areas of kaineng or tropicalislands in Proph and icymountains in NF where the new missions will take place.
OK more details about eachside.
First of all each side will have its ownset of titles like i said and as you progress in rank new PvE skills will be available, the lightbringer idea was good but now well made i think.
In addition to this, more armors will be available and weapons that only drop in good or evil areas, armors thatr limited to each side and they reflect the good ot the bad of their choise. Please no more armor that looks the same as in all chapters the difference between them is minimal when it comes to elite ones, only difference is the number of horns and spikes on them.
Moreover, i think the appearance of the character it self should change ( this is an idea from fable i guess but GW isnt supposed to be a innovative game afterall) like paragons should have black wings and good paragons milk white ones or in higher levels the eyes change like completely dark in evil case or shining in good case. Adding to this i would like to comment on one of my beggest wished foe additions. You must put NPC'S in towns that do stuff like haircuts and tatoos. it would be a really great addition in our ways to customize our character and would add even more diversity in which side you will choose as each side will have its own tatoos and haircuts.

Now to give solutions on some of the problems that might arise.
-lets say you start your good bad campaign in NF and you finish all the quests you have there if you go to cantha will you have tostart from the beggining???
-No, the whole good/evil campaign will have a fixed numer of missions no matter where you start. if you finish the quests in one campaign then by going to the others you will have to do different quests than the others that started there would or to make it more simple you would do the same quests but you would view different cinematics and have different rewards than those that started there. just like with on going campaigns. Maybe here a safe precaution should be added like a character could start the good/evil campaign onloy in the continent he was created and when trying to do others in other campaigns there should be a foreign or local district like ina couple of missions in Factions.

Finally in order to live up some of these missions anet could make them PvP like a couple in factions too, Imagine good vs evil

Many of your ideas sounds very much like another game...Fable.

Did you play it recently? The good/evil path changing your character appearance, hair styles and tattoos...all in Fable.

as for no extra continent, im gonna have to say /notsigned there its the new material that makes me wanna buy new expansions.

all in all i like your idea but i think it would have to be for a completly new game. adding this in now would take too much time and would ruin the game as is. it seems like a system that would have to be there from the get go.
and it could end up people choosing say the evil path because the evil armors all look better than the good ones making the game one sided.

i played fable years ago when it first came out. First of all the idea of good and bad wasnt first time introduced in fable...and even there it was totaly different than what i was proposing but i ll get back to that in a while. Tatoo and haircuts also not only fable, actually i ve been thinking about how our characters arent much customisable, even the high lvl armors look alike and ..well.. we end up lloking very much like the next guy...then i remembered Gta san andreas and i thought ok maybe gyms would be too much but changing hairstyles and doing tatoos is something other games have too and it would add gr8diversity tou our chars, plus the fact that you choose a side will lengthen that diversity with different hairstyles etc if you remeber in Fable you could have any hairstyle or tatoos you wanted but they influenced your stand between good or bad this doesnt happen in my proposal.
Finishing up with this part, hairstyles, tatoos , special evil or good looking armors or even greater changes in appearance are essential when you talk about role playig your char
Now about the general good or bad idea. Come on this has nothing to do with fable, this struggle is as old as this world is and almost every game has it, afterall it gives us a better reason too form too sides than luxons kurzicks.

ok just saw the second post, after thinking about it and after i saw some other suggestions i think maybe it would be beetter instead of adding new areas in existing continents to creat a new continent thatthe good/evil campaign takles place but with no new chars ( i totaly think we dont need them ) so there will be new outposts, new areas , maybe you could divide the new continent and according to which side you choose you get to start from a different point, new bosses new skills etc. and i dont understand what you r saying being there from the start, this is a new campaign only you use your existing characters and role play them more... what just hit me is what totaly new players are gonna do since they dont have chars and icame up with toosolutions and i prefer the first

a) when the new GW comes out it will be distributed with one of the previous games eithe prophecies, factions, NF so you choose your lvl campaign. When i bought factions it had prophecies as a gift and isaw that happening with nf-factions so i guess its doable.
B) the campaignhas the core charactes + the 4 classes. you canstart one there and play till the end or bring your existing one and startfrom the usuall " i leave the island finaly point" like docks or seitung etc

what i meant by being there from start was that, in all the other campaigns you take the path of being the hero, Adding in a good vs evil system into a new chapter wouldnt make sence. So in CH4 you take the path of evil, yet go to cantha/elona/tyria to save the world. it makes no sence that one day you help the evil succeed, yet the next you have a sudden change of heart and become the hero.

well i didnt say that, my original idea was that the good evil campaign would start only after you ve finished one of the campaigns... you are a hero at the time but when theyaproach you what do you choose? then the campaign starts and the good/evil missions that happen in elona/canta etc but only in the new areas we havent seen. now i guess you mean this...you finish nightfall and you start the good/evil campaign there but also you want to do the regular factions campaign how can you be at one hand evil and then save the world from Shiro. Well its easy to connect the to campaigns by going to cantha to kill shiro in order togrow your influence there for your sect. You talk to the npc to go to cantha and a member of your side tells you that by going there the sect canachieve much and then at the end after you kill him you talk to your leader again and he tells you that now that you achieved hero status here too you have opened the factions part of good/evil campaign and so on

my opinion of the matter is that the whole story for the gods of the 3 continents are over. We got a new goddess and she's ... well.... not so interesting.

Grab the drows and elves and such... new continent where only the elves live. Humans are treated as slaves and fight against the elves and the drows. Add in the goddess of the drows and such and you'll get ... WoW. OMFG ...

Well seriously... whats fantasy without sexy elves and such? Why must lineage be the only ones with the uber cool elves?!!!

We need ELVES i tell ya!!! and SANTA to be the last boss in chapter 4.. mwahahahahaha

I read it, well yours is Fable and is a totally different idea from what i got.(mind that i dont mind it being from fable as isaid wurms???? ok i said good or bad but iwasnt talking about mini quests during a whole different campaign i am talking about a good evil campaign where you choose beforehand the side where you have a whole scenario based on what you choose ith coop missions that you face the good guys and whole areas where you can only set foot as evil or good.SO even if somenoe likes tha bad side better wont turn all his chars bad because he will want to see the other areas get the exclusive drops, live the other side of the campaign. Also i didnt mention any facial changes other than the eyes i dont want wings on my warrior...
alsoi dont know whyeveryone needs a whole new continent??? just tosee the same things with a different name??? instead of that wouldnt you want for our existing ones to get more areas?? and iam not talking about you know some more shiverpeaks, but different areas and parts we wished there were there be4...
