Hi all,

This is a suggestion that I don't really know would help, I could be without it, but I still think would be nice.
I know alot of ppl are talking bout owning a town isn't worth it, and now they maby set the Elite Missions free (which I hope they do).

So, why don't you make a title for what town you own?

That way is both a reward for the ones struggeling to get a town and it's a nice way to see what alliance you are in (as there are no such feature, for other ppl).

so your saying that if a alliance owns a town.eberybody in the alliance receives a title of a town they own..hmmm?

Exactly.

I don't think it will favor the elitism that comes with some titles, but pls disagree with me if you think different.

Would be nice but town owners change very regularly. Wouldn't be worth the time put in by Anet in my opinion.

Considering that what makes ppl get a town is based only on pride... i think the title of town owner would b an excellent idea...

I would add some extra money thing to it.

There would b an npc on the restricted town area where if u have the title of city owner u could daily collect something worth money. (like jade or ambar amount depening on rank on city owner title).

Owning a town is not useless. You get a discount at merchants which makes keys 480gp instead of 600:O that makes the treasure hunter title 4.8mill instead of 6mill(if you max it). Also IMO there shouldnt be a title for owning towns my alliance The Seven Deadly[Sins] has owned House for a very long time, plus most of the ppl are happy with the faction donation titles(woot we have the only 4(maybe 5) Savior of the kurzicks in the game).

yes well currently i see the discount as not worth the intense farming required to get a town.... you could earn enough money to make up for no discount in that time... and then some lol

As a reply on [sins] post earlier, the thing that made me start this thread was accually someone in your alliance who said that others didn't believe he was in [sins] alliance, even though he had defender title...

And still, I understand that you, as are we, proud with your faction titles. But remember, you can choose which titles to display, and it would be a nifty tool to (if necessary) show what alliance you are in to other ppl more than display how much faction your alliance got.
