I have a lvl 20 of course Ritualist/Monk. My channeling is 16 and my healing prayers is 11 and the rest is on spawning. I'm not really sure on what skills to use for channeling. At the same time I'm not sure where to get the proper skills, mainly the elite ones. I use my Ritualist in Tyria to get my way through the continent for fun, and at the same time help other new players. Though occasionally I go back to cantha to do some of my own work. I have no clue on any good skill combos that do tons of damage. I already have full kurzick armor, that is all black and I have vitae runes and channeling runes. I just want to know a good build, I'm going for a damage dealing Rt more than a healing. If you all could help me out I'de appreciate it, I would like to know where I can get a good channeling weapon, and I want to keep my channeling 16, but any other changes you would like to input would be fine.I find channeling Rt's fit my liking, no matter how much bad talk I've heard about them I have found that when being mobbed by tons of guys I'm usually the last one standing or the one who saves our party from destruction. I would place my skills on here but I change them so often that I dont remember them all, lol. If you include the skills, please try to include what damage they do and where I can find them. I know thats somewhat picky, but its aggrevating when your Rt looks really cool but the damage he does isnt at his full potential. So much would be appreciated.
oh one last thing, I was curious what creatures have a weakness to channeling. thanks sorry for the long post

Ok... after deciphering all that...
1) with the availability of runes, Restoration > Healing Prayers for a rit.
2) skills for a ritualist can only be found in Cantha and elona - you'll have no luck trying to find any in the Prophecies campaign.
3) last I checked, Channelers did not do 'tons of damage' - see physical classes for that. What channelers can do is constant, high single-target damage, moreso even than Air eles.
A basic build (incorporating the new Bloodsong) would be to set up a spirit to act as a 'totem' or whatever you'd call it to get the extra effects from your skills.
e.g
[skill]Bloodsong[/skill]
[skill]Essence Strike[/skill]
[skill]Spirit Burn[/skill]
[skill]Spirit Rift[/skill]
Then throw in a res, self-heal if you wish, and whatever other skills you like the look of - [skill]Gaze From Beyond[/skill] is a favourite of mine.

Oh I know that, I go to cantha to get my spells and such. I just travel to tyria to help people and such. I was curious as to a strong build for a channeling Rt for both tyria and cantha.

You could also use this skill

Painful Bond- Hex Spell. For 10...18 seconds, target foe and all nearby foes are hexed with Painful Bond and take 8...18 damage whenever hit by a Spirit's attack. 15 Energy 1 Casting 12 Recharge

And you could add the spirit of Pain For more spirits dmg

My favorite part about spirits is not getting obstructed by things when they attack.

P.S. You gotta love bunched up casters when the Disco ball goes off AKA Spirit Rift
