Elementalist Fissure armor black dyed ¿?

Well , I don't know if someone did this thread already , I was looking with the Search but couldn't find it.

Please I want to ask ANET why the elementalist fissure armor cannot be dyed in black .

Is not so hard to change this , but i would really love to dye in black the armor.

I totaly agree on this .. its very annoying that every nice colour that can be used on the ele fissure armor stays this ugly purple colour

Yes, is not fair , while other armors can be dyed in black.

Yep, I completely agree. Having everything on elementalist Obsidian armor show up as a shade of purple is very annoying/disappointing. After spending all that money on the armor, it seems a bit odd that it can't even be dyed black when pretty much every other armor type in the game can. Since black always shows up as a dark shade of purple, it's also impossible to produce darker shades of colors.

I did manage to find a color combination that works but I was unable to use black in a manner that didn't look ridiculous.

Yep, it is annoying, after you wasted 105 ectos & shards and the armor cannot be dyed correctly really annoying, well I have only 2 obsidian armor , one for my derv. (dyed black) and one for my elementalist, so i don't know if this issue is only for the elementalist armor, but this issue must be fixed.

ele fow is pretty messed up to dye

i couldnt dye it the colors i wanted but have settled with a okayish lime green

I just hope that Gaile Gray read this and get the Dev team to fix this issue.

I want black dye.
If this never gets fixed, though, here are some decent alternatives:

Gray + Black + Black + Black = almost black (but expensive)
Black + Yellow + Yellow + Yellow = gold (best mix I've found so far, others have been orangey)
White = white... classy
Gray = gray... tidy, gives it the appearance of effective armor

Personally, I use the B+3xY combo; looks great with my Brass Spear (+5 enegy, 20% ench)

well , as I said I use the search option , but I didnt find the thread , and many thanks for the color alternatives, very handy , it is possible for anyone to post the armor with g+b+b+b ? I just wanna see how black it is.

yeea fow armor for ele soo ugly, why cant it be nice as 15k sunspear or 15k luxon or 15k aeromancer??? why did anet made fow soo frikin boring.
