Yeah, SOJ is the damage dealer. I know they scatter from it, but you can still get them all, you just have to make sure you are attacking them too. The skill set I use is this.

I put 12 in Smiting and bring Protection and Healing as high as I can go with them (9 I think, but I don't remember). I have the -50 offhand and a -20 offhand just like any 55 would have. If you die right away, good. I think it is easier with 13 life than 55 myself. But you can do it either way. It takes about 20 minutes or so to clear them all, depending on how you do in avoiding the savage slash. I have done about 25 runs maybe and have gotten 4 dead swords with it. I am still working on getting my Monk there, but until then, using the necro is fine with me.

Personally, i use my ranger trapper to kill them and i bring my heroes with me.... i thought that the most important thing to me is killing the warriors cause they only drop dead swords so i pull away my heroes, kill wars with traps, i call back my heroes and finish the casters. I take only 10 minutes for run in this way.

Casters are so stupid that most part of them rush towards traps and die so the most part of times there is only one or two casters left to kill.

Well, there is a -20 hp +5 armor inscription you can get to put on any inscribable offhand you want. "Life is Pain" I think it is called. Or, you could look around in a town to see if anyone is selling and offhand with the -20 on it already. Usually go for 500g - 1k at this point that I have seen.

one of my guild members who farms this like constantly and has 30+ Dead Swords says his Monk can farm it without attacking, tanking or healing. I don't believe him but IDK there are some pretty odd builds out there, Too bad he won't tell me how )=

without attacking tanking or healing. sike. when you solo you have to tank or hide behind a wall (evasion is same as tanking). Without attacking, uh kk lots of skills like that: SS, SoJ, silver armor, etc. Without healing. That means that he's taking 0 dmg, hence tanking. and yes 30+ dead swords means constant farming, gold dead sword on my third run and i've never farmed this since. boring farm imo

You can switch cyclone axe for shield stance because most of the time you'll get interupted while casting and that can block them

thats acctually a horrible build...to say the least...not fast and not reliable...my rt/me can take them out easy in 5 min...just throw in spirit rift and ansestors rage with high channelling and u got it...always keep manta of resolve up or they will just intureupt you...u may die allitle more cuz not alot of healing but i can take them all on with -60dp...so i think its a good build

These days req 9 Dead swords are sold sometimes under 20k, imo it isnt worth the time now. And I used to get some other golds, but now I cant get anything except white weapons and sometimes blue armors.
