General inscriptions query/theory

I have noticed that Inscriptions are only available in NF, and nowhere else. One would probably have expected ANet to add it to the Underworld and Fissure of Woe by now.

However, they haven't. My theory; they want to keep the more "elite" weapons you find down there [Storm bows, Eternal Weapons, Chaos Axes] etc "1337".

However, I could be wrong. It could be that with the release of the next Chapter, similarly to what happened with NF and the Factions Storage Upgrades, it will be expanded into the other chapters. Why? Because they would include it in the next chapter, and then thats 1/2 the chapters, and so it will need to be expanded backwards also.

Does this not stand a chance of making peoples elite-weaponry obsolete? All those nice chaos axes people still use won't be as nice because they don't have an inscription slot.

Any thoughts? This doesn't effect me since I use mostly collectors items to save cash :P

My only peeve about this is that inscriptional tyrian skins drop in NF, and the same skins aren't inscribable in Tyria. They should make it chapter wide imo because you can already get the skins in the other continent so it would be logical to make it everywhere.

At least thats what I think.

Storm Bows and other formerly UW-only weapons are found as inscribables in the Realm of Torment. Also, you can theoretically get any weapon as an inscribable from the HoH chest now. Most likely Arenanet does not see it as a critical change.
