Did Vizu get killed by the jade wind?

The wiki said Archemorus and Saint Viktor got killed by the jade wind, then what happened to Vizu? Did she get out before the wind reach her?

Judging from the Factions cinematic trailer I would say yes, unless she was able to outrun the shockwave which is doubtful

um,..i remember reading somewhere that she was able to escape the blast, by using her teleportation ability to outrun it, but i could be wrong. I'll try to find some more info.

Yes. Anyone who was near the harvest temple was killed and Vizu was right by Shiro when he was killed.
Etta,your probably mistaking the part with Vizu shadow stepping behind Shiro with an escape. Since the blast got half of Cantha in a few seconds nobody could escape it.

You have pointed out something i never thought about. We do know Vizu was killed by the Jade Wind alongside the Luxon and Kurzick champions.....so it is perhaps a desendent is already in place.

you were right Free runner, she did get kill by the blast but not at the ground zero like everyone else.
For a while she used her teleport skill to stay just one step before the shock wave but after a short time her energy ran out and she,..well return to the force. Its in the faction booklet as i recalled (again could be wrong, still at work so cant get a 100% confirm)

No i'm afraid to say it is never mentioned in the Factions manual nor anywere else. Lets remember Vizu did not expect Shiro to emit such a thing. She was one of the first the Jade Wind hit being in the Temple when it happend (and the temple was half sunk). And this line kinda stops your passage of her getting a headstart on the shockwave.

She managed to Shadow Step for a little while, but still got caught by the wind. I'm not sure if Vizu is related to Nika, and even if she is it might be the great aunt 84 times removed thing.

Go to about 2:24 in the rendered cinematic movie. You can see many corpses have been jade-ified by the Jade Wind. I'm doubtful Vizu got away.

I sure she got killed by the Jade wind considering she was trapped on an island even with her shadow stepping skills she cant go across water. I think theres a mention of her dieing there during the Tahnnakai Temple mission although i could be mistaken

Dune was right the info I remember was from the Factions strategy guide, but when you compare it to the CG movie of factions, there's no way she can escape the blast.

I think the lore in there would be pretty credible. Updates and such change other things, but I'm pretty sure there wasn't ever an update that screwed with major lore points.

I feel it's safe to assume the Vizu is more powerful than a level 20 character would be, as she was able to temporarily stun Shiro. As such, it's not a large stretch to say that she has a stronger ability to Shadow Step.

she was dead and she was not an old spirit meaning that she was killed at the time as well... but then again gw never really did have many old charecters spiritual or living...

Well shes probably more powerfull then most sins, seeing that she stunned shiro with one hit. Considering that, she could also run/ shadow step pretty far, but everything has its limits. Finnaly, she just coulednt outrun shrios ultra death- nova.

Unfortunately shadow step is not a teleportation skill even though it looks like it. The only proof I can provide is that when I was in The Deep, I tried to use the skill "Recall" but missed the gate completely after being blocked off by a wall that was in the way. So I tried casting "Recall" again when the gate was blocking me and I still couldn't get through.

gilgameshx, much of Guild Wars lore is impossible with in game physics. lore is simply back story, and no one should attempt to explain it with said physics.
as for her reaching the edge of the Jade Sea, I believe it means she just made it to the Jade Sea, but didn't have the power to go across it. Ie, she made it to the close side, not the far side.

To the OP, yes she did die by the blast but the question of where, at the ground zero like everyone else or 30 sec after everyone else near the jade sea yet remain unknow. And I guess we will never know.
