Farming Briar Blades

I've been trying to get one of these for my Ranger to play around with a bit. Wiki says they drop from Enchanted Brambles and Murmuring Thornbushes, however I can't seem to kill these guys with efficiency, if even at all.
I've tried to 55 them but they give amazing degen, enough to bypass Mystic Regeneration sometimes (I'll have like +6), so I can't aggro large groups. Also the healing is too much for Shield of Judgement to outdamage, even Holy Strike on the Paragons can't kill them. Occasionally I can kill one but its just waaay too slow. I can't go /Me for Sympathetic/Ancestor's Visage because without Mystic Regeneration there's no way to have enough regen.
They use Ebon Dust Aura so pretty much all melee classes are worthless.
Trapping only works to a certain extent. Once you've killed all the melee guys you're hexed with Crippling Anguish and you can't run. With that, kiting builds also don't work.

Running out of ideas here; what does work against these guys with at least some degree of efficiency? I only have Prophecies and Nightfall so factions skills are out.

Try E/A or A/E shadowform sliver armor you may not kill many but you'll get 2-3 if you aggro a big enough group its better then taking them slowly ><

Try a 55 with Sand Shards?

Hmm 55 won't work but... I could probably get enough armor-stacking on my Derv to tank these guys regularly; they're only level 20. Although my Derv is going for Legendary Survivor atm so eh...

try obsidian flesh sliver armor build perhaps that'D work

why do you all keep suggesting sliver armor? its a factions only skill, and he doesn't have factions. and im not sure what would even have a chance of working >.<

no idea what's pounding you cept those murmuring thornbrushes (dont remember mobs in NF and their skills prof etc lol) but what about a terra tank doing the sandstorm, earthquake, aftershock combo? but then again they're not all bunched up for you. SF 55 ele? lol

Rit/Me farms these *very* efficiently...

Question: Don't these things hang around with Mirage Ibogas? I am interested in farming some of these for the Sentient Spores..how would a Rt/Me (I assume you're talking Vengeful Echo) get around the Degen from Crippling Anguish and Conjure Phantasm on top of the conditions from the Brambles?

Resilient weapon + spam soothing memories, the mirage iboga wand almost continually feeding VwK

fire fire fire works the best but not sure if im right but theres a area where its just the ele n paragon guys wich should be able to dervish 130 farm

Sandstorm... eh you would really need to go /D to counter the insane degen, and then you don't have any energy management.

I don't have factions and therefore no access to rits.

55 doesn't work unless you take Dervish for Mystic Regeneration cause these guys give Burning (-7), Crippling Anguish (-3), Conjure Phantasm (-5), Bleeding (-3).

basalt grotto -> exit to vehin mines, there are just groups of 3 enchanted brambles, not that hard to farm really... 55 build will do ... SoJ kills em rather quickly

Make a build with MELANDRU'S RESILIENCE ull gain regen and Energy and if ur poss of adding anny kind of other Health regen it might counter the degen and than desice what build u wanna take

just a thought..

maybe bring "I will Survive!"? /W for the degen...
