Hi im not really good in english so if i make errors i'm sorry.
I have the idea of a dervish who use signet of midnight with sand shards.
Each times i miss my attack i make incredible damage to all ennemy next to me. And an ennemy is blinded. The cost in enery is really low.
I' d like to you to test (Zaishen iway ;D) this build and tell me your ideas to improve and apply this on a farm.
Thank you very much to take a look on this.
Bye

Bye The concept is not really new. I haven't seen any guides or anything laid out for it, but I've heard of people trying it and stuff. I think it could be really good, except for the AoE scatter.

Sand shards doesn't do nearly enough damage to make this kind of build effective. You do much more damage through regular attacks.

Guildmaster Cain
Sandshards can do massive damage.
I posted this build quite a while ago. (1 day after NF launch or so)
Use that mesmer spell (unlinked to attribute) that transfers conditions to all others and they wont be able to hit you.
Vital Boon + Twin Moon sweep = hit 6x with Sand shards and get healed for 250 or so.
Conviction for some extra armor.

does this still works ... lately aoe splits the mobs up... so it wont be that much effective with sands...

Hi sorry it doesnt work with AOE. But with not a lot of ennemy (Aatxe ) with epidemic? I think the dervish can do enough damage against them.
Smite crawlers shield of judgement : i miss every my attack so SoJ doesnt work But zealot fire i dont know to resolve it. If you can spend a little time about this thank you very much. Bye

I tried that it works except they use both Riposte and Deadly Riposte those hit you for major dmg and with 3 of them hitting you with it you dont last long.
So yea, the Sig of Mid + Epimdemic + Sandshards = crap vs Aatxes
for some reason that combo still triggers the Rips

well for minos and trolls, maybe using one of the dervish enchantments that cripples the mobs so they wont be able to run away too far!
